@@Shin3y this is deffo Ukhardcore/Happyhardcore, I produce it. Hes got his kick too loud, that’s why the bass sound off also if he’s going for that classic hardcore sawbass sound he should adjust the phasing on the oscillators

That effect with the bass is more commonly done via sidechain and often sounds cooler when it's like that

Nah offbeat sounds better than sidechain imo, its more bouncy. You shouldn’t need to side chain an offbeat unless your kick is really long. he need to turn down his kick, it’s too loud for the bass. He’s getting that weird ducking effect because the sub bass isn’t matching the sub of the kick. I produce hardcore

@@naughtyducky6325 You don't need to side chain an offbeat bass, never did I say you should. I said the offbeat bass effect is usually achieved through sidechaining one long bass note to the kick and then adjusting the settings for a nice rhythm.
