music theory question if you're up for it: how does the chord progression factor in? is that just used for the bassline? or are you using the 2,3,7th note from each different chord when you're constructing the melody? or are you just using the notess from b-minor, emphasizing the 2,3,7 ?

Yes when I say chord progression Im referring to the bass notes, I didn't use any actual chords in this beat, just the root notes. The 2 3 7 notes are independent from the chords tho, 2 3 7 just refers to the position of those notes in the scale
