How To Make Quick Coconut Carp Pellets

Quick Coconut Carp Pellets - Carp Bait Recipe
Adding carp pellets to your favorite bait mix or even just fishing with pellets on there own can give you the edge. Most pellets for carp are fish meal based, however we know they also love sweet flavours such as coconut. In this recipe I will show you how to make a batch of coconut bait pellets at home with off the shelf supermarket ingredients.
It is important when making this bait that you allow plenty of time for the cooked carp pellets to dry out and harden. Resist the temptation to go fishing with them on the same day, leave them for 2-3 days before placing in a sealed air tight container for best results.
Bait Vault is a dedicated channel to catching carp, catfish and other freshwater species with homemade baits.

A good way is to roll up the dough and then use a bread punch to get them out. Make the dough 10 mm for a 10 mm punch. 6 mm dough for a 6 mm punch and so on. These pellet will be perfect. It is important that the dough has been in a refrigrator a few hours before you do this.

+Ziyaad Bayat Soya flour is used a lot in bait making, so its a good thing to have lying around the house.

Yeah I noticed. Its not a flour that we have usually laying around the house but will be keeping some in future.

I wouldn't have it lying around my house, not good for the carpets.

How does one use these? do they go into a bait bag?

  • @baitvault

+Hellerzauberer You can use them in PVA bags or simply mix them in with your ground bait. I have found that they are great for free offerings with a bait catapult to draw the fish into my swim.
