Thank you for "Assembling" your unit and not just gluing it together. This shows craftsmanship not found much anymore. I would be proud to have a unit like that on my lab table. Beautiful build. A whole lot better than the one I made a long time ago. I used a 12 volt transformer and a 7905 chip to make a supply that would output 5 to 12 volts at 1 amp. It served me well in my earlier days. This one is on a whole new level.

Ma certo, basta che gli porti una tensione di 30 volt in ingresso ed otterrai in uscita 30 volt :-) Io avevo quello a 24

Great litle project. I got fw of thoses but not made with a step down converter. Few tips: Fan should be inside the box with a metal protection outside to avoid injuries. Also shoul be a hole on top to get an airflow. Fuse should also be at the beginning, for the fan to be protected. Digital display would be more accurate when you need them, but for sure analog gives a nice look!

Very nice! I love the design and the fact that you didn't use any 3D printed parts. So many DYI projects these days are based on 3D printed parts. I need a variable power supply, but I'm too lazy to build one. Been looking at them on Amazon.

Hello Daniele, I love the project, looks absolutely wonderful! I wish that I had your skill set, as I would love something like this on my workbench. Fantastic job with the front panel with the analog meters. The only thing I would have done different would be to add holes or slots like on the bottom for the fan to do it's job keeping everything cool.

Un lavoro "di fino", come tutti i tuoi lavori. Il design mi piace molto. Unica cosa che non mi piace è alimentare l'alimentatore con un altro alimentatore. Sarebbe veramente sublime un progetto "da zero" dell'alimentatore, dove viene progettata e realizzata anche tutta la parte elettronica, che va dal trasformatore al finale.
