Good tutorial. Of course, this method can be applied to all sorts of things. I'm not much on jewelry. But I love a nicely decorated room. This method could be applied to coasters, planters, vases and much more, I'm sure. BTW, paper does not burn until the temperature reaches 451 degrees Fahrenheit (232 degrees Celsius.) I don't know where this idea comes from. I guess they never had to read "Fahrenheit 451" in school.

Hello! Love your videos, some of the best ideas I’ve seen so far!! One question- I usually just bake for the recommended 15 mins at 275, and so I was surprised when you said you do it for 30 mins in another video- maybe my oven is not working like it should, but mine (translucent clay) can even start to burn/turn yellow sometimes even at 15 min bake time, I can’t imagine 30 mins! I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong?

Aw man that’s so tough! Think about things you like, favorite things, favorite flowers, nicknames, children’s names etc.

Has anyone had any luck with the color transferring? I’ve tried 3 different napkins and none leave the color on the clay. Any tips?

I tried this technique, but I had a problem with napkin coming off. Does the type of napkin make a difference?

So strange! Did your carefully press and rub the napkin into the raw clay?

Same here after a few times!! I’ve now been sealing them without wiping the napkin off. I still soak them and make sure there aren’t any flaws before sealing but then without continuing to wipe the napkin off I apply the seal and this gives the desired effect.
