@@TeamLegacyFTW - Yes. We used to rub a thin coat of butter on the paper, then heat it in the oven at low heat for a few minutes. The butter would brown the paper and give it a kind of thicker feel to it, like parchment. Don't know where we got the idea. Might have been from mom. Worked out well for projects for school when we were kids.

Paper looks old, but is still in perfect condition. To make it look genuine, use tea instead, spread the tea unevenly, bake, and add random cuts creases here and there. Maybe even try to slightly burn the edges with a lighter. Then if you want, spray it with colognes that smell like money or fresh newspapers.

Might be wise to do that outside. I burned a piece of paper in the sink for fun and the paper towels caught fire and then a calendar on the wall. I had to beat the fire out with my jacket that I paid 40 dollars of my hard earned money for. It didn't go out easily and seemed to be spreading fast. I am so thankful my father's business didn't go up in flames. Fortune favored the foolish that day but the fool learned a good lesson. I never told him -- or anyone for that matter -- what a stupid son he had.

I also have to point out that pressing the paper down on the pan when the pan is not -no stick - it will cause your paper to stick to the pan, so it's best to place a wax paper sheet between the pan and the paper after you've soaked the paper and removed the excess This video is leaving alot out!

I like the more uneven look with the edges dark and the center more white. You can use a lighter (be careful!!!) and hold the paper close to the flame until it starts to turn color.

I'm definitely going to try this the next time my prints comes upside down out of the printer. (I hate when that happens, and it happens like 50 percent of the time)

Brown tea will do the same thing as the coffee but the coloration there is from soaking old tea grounds in water to the preferred darkness, pouring it in to a pan like in this video and dropping the sheets into it to absorb the color. You still have to bake it to dry it though.
