Under 100 calories if the combination is low in sugar (unsweetened milk and plain yogurt). The cut fruits you add will not be overly caloric unless something like mango is used. Berries and/or part of a banana will keep the glass under 100 calories. A little honey will add some sweetness without many calories.

Jam has pieces of the fruit mixed in; jelly contains no noticeable solids, both are used as spreads on toast, scones, etc. The jiggly gelatin dessert/salad is generally referred to as "Jello" even though it is a brand name. Preserves are used like jams and jellies but usually contain whole fruits, e.g., homemade fig preserves.

Dont eat milk plus sour fruits Milk and fruits It s fashionable these days to blend fruits into smoothies, and they make for great Instagram pictures. Most of these fruits have a dairy base like milk or yoghurt. This can spell disaster for your health according to Dr Bhagwati. Fruits like banana, strawberries, pineapple, limes and oranges produce heat on digestion. But milk, on the other hand, has a cooling effect. When these fruits are broken down in the stomach, they become sour. When milk and these fruits are consumed together, their mutually opposing qualities can douse the digestive fire. This, in turn, can cause an imbalance of your gut flora. Ama or toxins are created in your stomach, says the doctor. Mixing milk and fruits together often causes colds, coughs, phlegm and allergies
