How to make over a SMALL closet in style.

Closet Makeover // Closet Organization // DIY Closet … In this video, I do a closet makeover on a small 5-foot x 5-foot walk-in closet and add soft-close drawers, adjustable shelving and hanging rods to maximize small closet organization in a tight space. Most standard closets are functional, but a closet makeover like this can really transform the space and maximize storage and organization. I’m certainly not a closet designer, but I think the storage created and the new aesthetic was a huge improvement from a shelf, hanging rod and some cubbies. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Have you ever tackled a closet renovation?? Are you planning on one?! #closetmakeover #closetorganization #walkincloset #customcloset

    Slowly but surely getting through all your videos. Some I have watched two or three times.... because, well, multiple reasons. 1) They are entertaining ( and I enjoy your humor)!! 2) They are very informative and give some quality tricks and tips of the trade. 3) This could fall under #2 but I said there are multiple reasons so I have to try and make the list long.... Seeing how you go about using various types of wood working tools, and various methods of woodworking. 4) I like the foremen ( aka your feline friends) that are on site to keep you in line and on task at all times!!! 5) I am running out of reasons and now just taking up space and time that you won't ever get back from reading this "reason"!!!!

    Great Video, I do enjoy the home improvement, hope to see more. Would you care to share some tips on spraying BM Advance or even a video. (percent thinned, air cap size, # of coats, time between coats, sanding between coats, and anything else helpful you have learned along the way) I just sprayed Advance for the first time on some carcasses, I got OK results after thinning it down 20%+ which is way more than the recommended. I'm getting ready to do the doors and fronts and I'd love some real world knowledge. Thanks.

  • @KeithJohnsonCustomWoodworking

    @KeithJohnsonCustomWoodworking

    3 жыл бұрын

    Thanks so much! For the Advance, I usually thin 5-10% with water and add some Benjamin Moore extender as well. I am using a 3-stage Earlex with a 2mm tip. For the paint, I wait a full day in between coats. I lightly scuff sand with 320 or 400 between coats and then vacuum and wipe with a microfiber cloth before the next coat. I usually do 2 coats of paint on top of 1-2 coats of primer. For the clear finish, I use a 1.5mm tip and that stuff doesn't need to be thinned at all. That can be re-coated in 4-hours. I scuff sand with 320 or 400 between those coats as well. I do 2-3 coats of clear depending on the abuse it will get.

If I only thinned 10% I had poor atomization and large splatter (fuji 5 stage). Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question and look foward to your next upload.
