    You have to be built to do this type of work.i was let go cause my percentage was not over 80% but it was a blessing ,got my class A CDL and been driving now for Kroger for 17years have nothing but respect for order selectors for the food service industry

    I remember i was like you, I was 18 when I started at my company, I found out I was actually working too hard and getting underpaid, I'm now 31 and Trying to transition to another job, I've only had this 1 job, I even bought my first house at age 26 while at this job, My company pays good but when you get older you don't really care to do hard labor anymore and want to relax cause your body starts to feel it

    Just wanted to say manual labor has a different level of gratification. I worked at a small dry cleaner for a year and some change, and it wears on you. But you come home paid, and feeling like you had a complete day. Blessings to you in your endeavors

    Great video! Is it okay for you to fill and post online? Or does sysco not care? I work at a warehouse, and we can have our phones on us, but we’re not allowed to be filming or really using them at all really. Just for emergency purposes really.

    That scanning and placing labels on every case makes you move at a slower pace. Thats why most warehouses use voice picking. You can move alot faster. The only thing you will be touching is the cases. Everytime you touch those labels and the device on your wrist you could've been picking up a case

    Is it pretty easy to fake a dt when hired on? Just a visit at the nurses office? I worked a union job for a few years and about half the employees smoke weed, when they give out random drug tests but send you to the nurse or an urgent care it’s pretty easy to get around

    Every day you run a certain number and at the end of the week they average those percent out to one number and where ever that number falls on the grid that’s wat you get payed for that week.. then it starts all over again the following Sunday

    Yep. I remember those paychecks. Breaking my back over night in the freezer, working 12 hour shifts. Now I make these same paychecks but working 8 hours with daytime schedule, and sitting at a desk in a temperature controlled office. Every man should spend a few years working these kind of jobs.

    I had about 150 sum but it’s Nun to be scared about love.. luckily this job is more mental then physical.. if you have the drive and mental drive to overcome the physical aspects then you’ll be good.. not gonna sugar coat tho it’s gonna be very distressing on your body in the beginning but like anything else over time you’ll get accustomed and it’ll be like clockwork.. bottom line it’s do a me for any gender, don’t be shy .. apply !! 😊

    Other way around.. for example r pallet has stops 10-7 .. don’t bury stop 7 or 8 in R2 at the bottom .. because the driver would have to either down stack the entire pallet jus to get 1 or 2 cases OR he may not see it and you get a short

    Oh it’s all different.. I’ve gotta like 63 mins for a 300 batch before but I’ve also gotten 38 sum mins for a 200 batch.. it all depends on the batch and bulk and amount of stops

    And you a g bro cause that 105 hours are 15 hours day 7 days a week check that’s good asf more than a damn truck driver.And you not lieing Sysco got some rude ass niggas I told one dude someone gonna fuck you up one day.So I quit I swear to god two months later some new hire came in and he did the same thing to me to him calling him a b…so the dude walk in the office were the manager were at and the new guy came behide in in the office and stab him to death in front of everyone look it up .Am in Denver he died on spot .So now am back.

    Can't see how he runs a 150! That's cap! Lolol He's super inefficient. Jack placement is horrible, he's touching majority of his cases at least 3 or 4x's. Has to run around his jack for cases so he's not reading his next pick till he's back on the jack and takes off. He's actually average on a good day. Lol Definitely lying about running a 150 tho! Maybe that particular run but not over the course of a whole shift

Lol Steps, touches, fixes, or maybe the timing system is set different. You do have a fool stick and tag game tho. I had to cut my tip out my glove to grab that fast.
