Hello from Alaska....So, I had to use 7 tbs more of flour. And, it is in the oven like you said and it has been around 25 minutes so far and no rise, yet. I can't believe how off everything is, I wonder why?, I'll be back to tell everyone if it was a bust or not. PS- Did you know that your link that takes us to your website for the printable recipe for these says to use 1/2 cup of water with the dried yeast and here on your video you say a 1/4 cup? Okay everyone, I'm back! THESE ARE A M A Z I N G !!!!! WOWZAAA!!! So, I had to use 7 tbs more of flour, isn't that crazy! I didn't get the rise she did, and it doesn't even matter, why? Because they came out so perfect! 10 minutes, perfect and fluffy, soft and they did rise more in the oven , PLIUS, they are beautiful! I did make more of the icing because I love it! Can't wait to make these for my friends at church. Thank you! Love your channel! PS- I'm back! 1/27/24 I made them again and this time I used 8 more table spoons of flour instead of 10. I wonder why I have to use so much more flour...hmmm... Maybe because I live in Alaska, high altitude. Idk....

I just tried this. I found this dough remarkably easy to work with. Being an experienced baker, I did a few things my own way. I cut into 8 pieces for slightly smaller rolls. And I baked them in a square pan, about an inch apart. The rolls turned out wonderfully! I did a butter rum orange sauce, as I’m not crazy about confectioners sugar based glazes, but that’s of no consequence to the recipe overall. As to the dough recipe, it’s a good one. I’ve been looking for a while for a small batch dough like this so I can make a few rolls, buns, etc for just hubby & me. Every time I’ve tried myself to cut one of my larger batches down it just doesn’t work out as well as I’d like. This one was spot on. Thank you so much!

I forgot to add, I’ve never seen the thread trick with raw, risen dough (just a similar technique for slicing cakes). I tried it and it worked perfectly! So not only did I find a new recipe, I learned a new trick! Thanks again!

I watched a lot of videos about baking but I like your video more because you presented it more better and easier to follow. I will try to look more about your videos.

I always preferred the Pillsbury Orange Rolls over the Cinnamon Rolls...would love to try these, but working with dough is so intimidating. Great job, they look AMAZING!

I tried this recipe 3 times. Measured very accurately. Dough never gets in ball form. I’ve added tons of extra flour. What is the problem?

I live in Puerto Rico and I made them once but I use King Author bread flour and they came out great the dough was fine it wasn’t overly sticky now I’m using gold medal all purpose flour and I had to add over 5 tablespoons of flour for it to barely come together I don’t know if it was the humidity or the flour but definitely when you make cinnamon rolls I would go with bread flour King Arthur work great for me and yes it is a sticky dough but not to the point where mine was compared to hers on the video completely different dough
