Hey, great job! Real nice work. I'm building one exactly like yours from your video and have a question if you don't mind. The 2 gyro boards that are wired together is that really necessary or could you also use only one gyro? I was thinking that as now there are potentially two different outputs of the gyro right? Or do they combine into one signal for both motors? Also how did you layout the gyros on the footboard? I couldn't tell from your picture. Are they flat on the wood as well or on the inside the rail? Are they front-to-front, back-to-back or back-to-front (if it even matters). I'm more of a wood-working guy so the electronics confuse me a bit. Appreciate the help if you have the time. Keep up the great the projects!

I can guarantee you this doesn’t preform any where near what an XR will. Not to mention this isn’t a 100 dollar build you can’t even get a hover board for that.

@@Nick-xs9zu ok so say you can get a hover board for 50$ which are probably super under powered you would still need to buy the onewheel tire which the cheapest ones I’ve seen cost 89$. All I’m saying is this can not be built for a 100 bucks.

@@justinsmith8099 I’m working on a similar project. I got tires for free from a karting place and a hoverboard used for 25 bucks. I’ve had someone offer me XR bumpers for 15, the rails can’t be extremely expensive either. You really can get this cheap.

A real one wheel goes 15 miles an hour comfortably even faster if you wanted and goes 12 to 18 miles for the XR this probably goes to miles and a max speed of 7 miles an hour and it is a very weak motor it knows dives constantly as you can see in the video I guess you get what you pay for
