Watching and listening while tears run down my face, remembering being in the kitchen and helping my mama go through some of these same ingredients and steps, I haven't tried doing this since she passed, (almost 10 years ago) but watching you do this and hearing you instruct, has giving me the desire to get in there and make it happen again! This time its gonna be the 3 of us cooking , Me and Mama (in spirit) with you on the video...Thank you so much! I gotta subscribe and comeback later because I'm too full of tears, right now! By the way my mom name was Mary Jane , and was called Mae as well, and wow! She use to say the same as your Mom! "If I could just help one person along this journey " MY GOD!!! If we all thought the same.... I have overly enjoyed listening to you, but I gotta get away right now...from now on you're gonna be my mom when I'm cooking, take care and God bless you...

OMGOODNESS, she is so funny yet she MAKING "SHO" THAT DRESSING IS seasoned right. Can I come over just to be the taste tester? Love that she give the history of food&tell us the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN a rooster, hen, regular chicken. I cooked a hen for the first time, two weeks ago. I was so confused as to y it was taking so long to cook. I googled hen prepping and learned that it is a older chicken and the meat is tougher and it is used in soups more. I wish I had viewed this video first. Thank u ma'am. I laughed as she was directing the camera person, thought it was one of her grandbabies, then she said hubby. He never questioned her, loved it! He stayed in his lane, lol.

My grandma passed away awhile back and my mom fell and hurt herself a few times and I stayed with my mom over a year helping her get back to walking normal cause I am a nurse and I love my mom and will do what ever to help her and I know God helped me watch over helping my mom. Mrs. Mae Mae, thank you for recording for us how good food is cooked. You are so right about today's foods losing their taste. Just wish I could have tasted that broth to know when it is seasoned right! You blessed me with this video. Please do more. Blessings to you and yours.

Mae Mae you brought tears to my eyes with this dressing. My deceased mother in law taught me how to make this one year for Thanksgiving. She was a very good cook and made the best chocolate and coconut custard pies. Ok I'll stop now because I could go on and on. I just want to thank you for keeping these recipes alive. God Bless you and yours!😇

Yes, she does. Your voice is soothing and your meals are always well presented! Getting through the holidays this year is going to be difficult without my husband of 30 years. But thankfully getting together cooking and watching my favorite videos may help the process. God bless you!

Reminds me of my grandmama who hails from Andalusia, AL, but raised her family in Texas as a widow. My granddaddy, whom I never met, died at age 35, shortly after he left the army. She would cook dressing precisely like this. Watching you cook is so comforting as I'm reminded of her. Thank you, Mae Mae!

Thank you MaeMae for your recipes! You are truly a blessing to me and I'm sure others. My mother passed and I have no grandmother's alive to teach me so I'm trying to learn on my own and you are most definitely helping me. Some people aren't willing to share their family recipes. However you are and that is a blessing! Thank you for taking your time out to share with us! Be blessed!
