How to make my Milkybar Cheesecake | Jane’s Patisserie

We all know and adore Milkybar right?! So what about this Milkybar cheesecake 😍❤️ This absolutely delicious and incredible recipe is always SO popular with you guys when I post it, so I thought I’d make a youtube video for it 😏 Honestly, it’s a classic amongst my followers now, and I don’t blame you 😂🤤
Recipe:
Biscuit Base
■ 300g digestives
■ 150g unsalted butter
Cheesecake Filling
■ 300g milkybar
■ 500g full-fat soft cream cheese
■ 75g icing sugar
■ 1tsp vanilla extract
■ 300ml double cream
Decoration
■ 150 ml double cream
■ 2 tbsp icing sugar
■ 50g melted milkybar
■ Milkybar

    Is the MilkyBar same as a white chocolate bar? I don’t think milkybars are available in the US (I’ve never seen them)

    How do you get the cheesecake out of the bottom tin so easily without marring or ruining the crust?

    I use a knife or an angled spatula, but I have had lots and lots of practice haha! You can line it, but I find that more complicated personally x

    I made this I think the other month for my daughter and the only milky bar chocolate I used was the buttons on top there no way I can actually afford the real stuff far too expensive my daughter absolutely loved it and didn't even ask what chocolate it was

    I use ALDIs white chocolate, and then their white buttons on top, no one knows 😆😋

    ❗️📢PSA📢❗️ Elmlea “double cream” is NOT double cream. It is an alternative. (It’s ingredients are rapeseed oil, emulsifiers, xanthum gum etc) For the best results, like Jane said (and taste, you can’t beat real cream) use real double cream! It’s also way cheaper!
