I came across his channel as a middle aged engineer, and was honestly shocked how casual he is about his intelligence. The man on the screen vs what he was talking of and doing, I quickly realized I needed to pay attention, because he was obviously a mad genius.

As someone with likemind autism/AD genes I have channeled my creativity into other fields and I definitely concur. Kids really don't get enough real diverse rolemodels to channel their quirks towards actual useful results. I only had a handful of those in my life and I'm grateful for that, but I surely could have used a whole lot more in my early life. Oh well you have to deal with the cards you have been given in life.

You can see that he's actually living the point he's trying to make. He's so nervous and absolutely off track. But that's when the magic happens. I think his biggest problem was to pick just a few things to talk about out of _all the things_ he *wants* to talk about, since 15 minutes is practically no time at all if you're passionate about something.

I like how "Yeah I'm going to do a talk." Doesn't do it, but still gets the point across.
There are a lot of people that have watched this talk and not recognized the pure brilliance of the structure. At the beginning it was basically like 1,000,000 individual points that seemingly have no connection to each other; as the talk goes on, it starts to form a general trend; and by the end it has all come together into a mindblowingly powerful message. This is the ultimate example of order from chaos. I'm glad I found this talk when I did, because I've been watching all of Look Mum No Computer's content since.

Most people at the beginning just look at him like he's certifiably crazy, still have that expression until about 75% of the way through where they're starting to get intrigued, but once that last couple minutes hits, they're hooked and he's earned that standing ovation completely.
