Once I stacked my truck with metal and batteries and I got 65 bucks. Was it worth the effort? Yes, if you don't have anything else to do. I wrk next to an auto shop so they let me have their trash. Plus he pays me to cut the grass so it's a decent deal I've worked out

I think you should stop scavenging for now. And organize, clean, strip, and make order out of your chaotic storage units and film it all. Buy a stripping machine and maximize all your tin, brass, copper, aluminum, cast iron.....etc. And film it all. One unit at a time. I bet all of your subscribers would like that. I knew I would. Anyway thank you for the wonderful video again. I watch them all. I rarely comment, but I am a subscriber and watch your videos.

VV Love the videos and as for what, or how you should do it is pretty simple. Do things as you have or enjoy doing them, I for one think you have a great outlook on life and a kind person. Don't change a thing, as long as you love the life you live, and love what you do, that's all that counts. Happiness is a rare, and hard to find in ones life, if you can wake up each day and laugh, or smile, and enjoy life then you have more riches than most. Peace...out.

Tip: Bottom cut off one bin inserted in the other bin on bottom (still with bottom.) Only take off few inches at bottom, mold together with torch or heating element. Now you have an extended storage unit on your moped

I was at a auto wrecking yard today Which is back to back with a metal scrap yard That had 4 cranes going at the same time And 2 huge belts going into a building The city is well known as a steel town But they also do asphalt And great lake shipping...Longer story short I could not believe the smell And choked up 8 hrs later i can still smell it ..Be happy your dropping off metal and not smelting it lol

Hey Vulture, we have 2 active scrap yards in our town and you're right, one of them only pays 15 cents per pound for #2 insulated wire, the other one, 30 cents per pound. Why are our prices so different, we live in the same state, you get alot more for your wire!

I never got a notification from you even though I did send a email for you to respond to in order to provide you with my address. Hope you read this email. 10:15 but since scrap is the lowest value you can get for things, it would make sense to give things a week or two on Craigslist before scrapping them. You'd end up getting more money in the end as long as any of it sells.

My friend was telling me about scrapping, two weeks later I have a backpack full of 19 pounds of different copper wire. Can anybody help me out and explain how to go to the scrap yard and sell my scrap? I don’t have a car so I ride my bike everywhere. There’s a scrap yard two blocks from my house so I could walk there easily. What do I do when I go in? Is it even worth bringing 19 pounds of insulated wire?? Do I have to cut off the plugs and separate all the wires? Will they help me separate them?? All the wire I have is of different thicknesses and types. I’m scared kind of because the my dad would go to the scrap yard when I was a kid and when I would come with everyone seemed really scetchy and angry, like if you didn’t know what to do everyone would be yelling at you to hurry up and move out of the way and it would be extremely loud and hard to hear. I just have completely no idea how to do it. I went on my local yards website and they have a list of what they take and their prices but no information on where to go or how to do everything.

oh boy you found a ninja base! I reckon that would have gone for $$ on ebay. If you get a smartphone (even a cheap tracfone will work) you can snap a photo of stuff in your storage unit and post on ebay with the app. Just keep a bin labeled ebay in your unit.. list under parts and repair like you mentioned. If it were me.. I would just put up sturdy shelving in one unit and use the cheap totes you find to organize/store stuff on the shelves. That way you only invest in shelving one time instead of paying for multiple units all the time. :) Even if you don't organize the scrap (i wouldn't if i were you), the shelving will create more vertical space for you to utilize. p.s. don't take negative comments so seriously...it will eat you alive.... just delete them...bizzie lizzie or i could moderate for you...
