It took me about 20 minutes to install it on my own. As long as you can lift it out the box and up into position you’re good. I did have to break the box to get it out as it was a snug fit. I followed the installation video on you tube which was a big help. I added this to support central air in my house that was struggling upstairs because of my house design. Lovely unit. Very quiet kzread.infoUgkx_hHgTlzH3uk31Fe2RVS3xEbXHGaN_z5T and looks sharp. Had it in a couple of weeks and so far so good. It’s cooling a bedroom about 25ft X 15 no problem at all.

It won't work because the peltier is isolated from the heatsink and therefore can not get rid of the heat it's producing! The white foam prevents it.

The white foam is a thermal pad. They are often used on computers, they do conduct heat.

It will but the cold side will not get nearly as cold. This whole design is bad it will produce heat behind it and cold infront. This could also be made so much smaller... First off ditch the cooled air chamber get a big heat sink the bigger the better aluminum preferred no heat pipes they wont work on the cold side anyway. High cfm quiet fans bigger the better try to isolate cold side from hot as best as possible if possible run a heat exchanger with antifreeze in a loop with an old heater core outside pumpunt the hot water outside through a heater core with any fan you like outside the more cfm through the heater core the better since it is outside noise and size isnt an issue.

No le hagas caso, las células peltier que usó son muy ineficientes y si no envías el calor para fuera ni siquiera enfriará. Investiga el ciclo de refrigeración y trata de conseguir un compresor viejo con algo que te sirva de condensador/evaporador y tendrás un aire acondicionado real.

The cooling output of this air cooler is equal to using a desk fan. I would say its a waste of time building this since a peltier module isn't designed to cool a room. Its for mini fridges

creo que hubo un error , al poner la primera celda pertier no desprendio la goma/foamy del centro de lo que parecia cinta doble cara, entonces se supone que es para evitar condensacion y se toquen lado frio y caliente, o la almoadilla tranfiere el calor??? me parecio extraño, si estoy equivocado,comentarios libres :D

Muy bonito, pero no es funcional, para tener frio la celda peltier debe dar al exterior, si sigue dentro genera calor por un lado y frio por el otro, asi que lo estas anulando en funcionalidad, a grandes rasgos estas haciendo un ventilador simple. Queda muy bien poner la sonda de temperatura para ver la temperatura generada, pero deberia ponerla en la salida de los ventiladores frontales que es el aire que realmente sale, no pegada al disipador de la celda. Para todo el que quiera hacerlo, puesto que es viable, hay mejores videos donde verlo y que lo explican a la perfeccion.

The sheer coldness produced by the peltier gets pushed out as mist via the two fans

It a peltier device they come in the 12v igoo coolers now if you have 12v cooler that is how it works I never seen frost come out of my igloo cooler and it better insulated than his cardboar. except when we put dry ice in it the you see the cold vapors for a few days so I find this to be good build not actual results but it will cool 1person not a room
