90% of speedcore is melodic i believe

I'd say more like 50%, unless you say any melody is "melodic"

Japanese Modern Speedcore, or on the contrary, all Mainstream Speedcore which mostly is Japanese. DJ Plague, early m1dy, Lord of Sp33d, Pressterror (can we include him?), Valencia Terror Corps, Noize Overdoze, and many many european unlisted ones from the 2010’s scene did NOT make it melodic.

@@DarthKillerRecargado yeah like camellia, definitely melodic, not always speedcore, but even his extratone is melodic.

@@DarthKillerRecargado First time I hear about mainstream speedcore. I kinda associate the term with the stuff that gets played at the smaller stages of big hardcore festivals (like Gabba Front Berlin, Frazzbass, Terrormasta etc. back in the day), but I think they rarely have anything Japanese, except maybe Nawoto Suzuki, who makes more oldschool speedcore. Maybe it's the mainstream speedcore of internet or Japan and anime convention afterparties. Kinda different worlds. Then there is the atmospheric, experimental, flash, noise, industrial, electroacoustic and other more unnamed underground speedcore stuff.
You forgot camellia breaks. The breaks that perfectly combine the melodic and nonmelodic breaks. Edit: not quite sure if I defined "Camellia break" properly.

just add a occasional mixed breakcore at the end of every 4 bars I guess

I hate looking up tutorials or whatever on obscure or extrene genres of edm and it just being treated like a total joke and a half assed song being produced that comes ofr as a parody of the genre

Hey, i saw this track in the speedcore network, Thats cool :D
This definitely sparked some inspiration. Really useful video. But I'll limit myself to 190BPM as I am not a fast person. Tho OSU map of a song you made in this video would be crazy. (I've never played it and performing that map would be scary)

hi, as an osu mapper this shit is difficult to map and i doubt there will be anyone to do it since so many people just want to map heavy metal and anime openings
