    Sliding knot closures are so fun, a bit tricky but so satisfying when you've got it down. We've also got another video on a similar style of sliding knot that might be helpful to learn from: beadaholique.com/products/how-to-make-a-strung-cord-bracelet-with-a-sliding-square-knot-clasp

    I've enjoyed this video. The bracelet is quick and easy. I have so many seed needs, now I'm going to make these bracelets. Thanks for sharing this video.

    This is one of our favorite uses for those few spare seed beads at the bottom of a tube. Have fun with it!

    If you want to anklet what size wax threads do you cut

  • @beadaholique

    I would follow the same instructions as the bracelet and add an extra 12 inches to be safe. An anklet is not too much larger than a regular bracelet.

    How do you sharpen your flush cutters?

    You know, I have never attempted to sharpen them. You could maybe ask someone who sharpens knives? It's a good question.

    The cord will twist in a spiral like this: beadaholique.com/products/how-to-use-closed-jump-rings-in-macrame-half-hitch-spiral-knots

    I have the same flush cutters for wire and was afraid to use them on wax cord/fiber. Will the cord dull the edge?

  • @beadaholique

    @beadaholique

    They shouldn't dull over time, but we also recommend thread snips for wax cord. You can find them here: beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=thread+snips

    How do you sharpen the Tronex, Kat?

  • @beadaholique

    @beadaholique

    3 жыл бұрын

    That's a good question. I don't think we've needed to replace or sharpen any of the Tronex tools in our design space since we started using them 3 or 4 years ago, but we don't use them for anything too demanding like metal sheering or manufacturing so I"m not surprised we haven't had this problem until now. If you find yours become dull from work I'd suggest talking to Tronex, they have a reconditioning and repair service tronex.descoindustries.com/Reconditioning-Repair-Service.aspx

    Couldn't you have added several more beads? I'm aiming to use as much as I can use as my beads are healing beads.

    It's tricky isn't it. I wish there were better options with color coded handles available. We like this sort of organization rack for our pliers,, it helps having the tips easy to see: beadaholique.com/products/wooden-plier-and-tweezers-stand-tool-rack-for-jewelers-holds-12-pliers
