🍋💛✨Ready to learn how to make some scrimptions lemon scones from scratch? To me, good scones are soft and flaky, NOT dry and tough. In this video I'll go over the ingredients you'll need and walk you through the steps so you can bake up some flavorful lemon scones in your own kitchen!

💛INGREDIENTS:
◼For the Scones:
1 1/2 cups (214 grams) all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon unrefined sea salt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest
6 tablespoons cold butter, cut into smaller pieces
1 large egg
3 tablespoons of cane sugar or maple syrup
1/2 cup full-fat Greek yogurt (see note)
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring, optional
◼For the Glaze:
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/8 teaspoon lemon flavoring

I love pretty anything with lemon in it, a specially cookies, cakes, scones.
My daughter and i just made these❤ they are delicious
I just made these scones and my family absolutely loved them. They are so light! they are not as dense and substantial as the classic scones I've had in the past. I used crème fraîche épaisse instead of yogurt as I had some in the fridge and didn't want it to go bad. But I'm sure full fat yogurt would be just as good. I served them with jelly and crème fraîche épaisse (I opted out of the lemon glaze as I prefer a classic scone) Thank you and will definitely make these again.❣
Honestly, I think we would be BFFs if we lived next door! We seem to share many of the same sensibilities and preferences. We could trade days of hosting tea (or matcha), & scones, and help each other with all our baking, canning, recipe testing, and prep. ❤ Lovely video & recipe 🎉 tfs

how many grams of butter are in 6 tablespoons? how tf am I supposed to measure cold butter in spoons

In the USA the wrappers on the sticks of butter have lines showing the tablespoons so it’s really easy to measure. But 6 tablespoons would be about 84 grams I believe.
