How to Make Lebanese Chicken With Rice
For the Chicken:
chicken 3- 4 lbs
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1 Tsp
7 spices 1 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon 1 1/2 tsp
For the Cinnamon Rice:
Rice 2 cups
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1 1/2 tsp
7 spices 1 1/2 tsp
Toppings:
Raisin 1/3 cup
Walnuts 1/3 cup
Almonds 1/3 cup
Cashews 1/3 cup

I'm so glad I found you! I used to work opposite a wonderful Lebanese supermarket who also prepared food, which was so yummy! Have you done kibbeh? I'd love to see how to mould them. The filling of meat, pine nuts and caramelised onions is a great memory. The shop, by the way, is Green Valley, off the Edgeware Road in London. Thank you.

I don't have the recipe for the meat kibbeh but I have the pumpkin one, it is delicious. Yum that sounds so good! That place sounds great.

Hi habibi thank you for your kind words. I know there is no place like home so I’m glad you found some happiness through my videos. I do use olive oil, but you could use a combination of olive oil and butter if you like or another oil alternative.

Traditionally, we have always fried them so that’s how I have always made them. You could try toasting them but I pan fry them in very shallow oil but I haven’t tried baking it before. Let me know if you end up trying it and how it turns out.

Normally served with "fatte" which is baked pita bread broken to pieces with some chicken broth, add yogurt over it (in a layer) and add some fried pine nuts with a sprinkle of 7 spices

Traditionally people like to use the broth that they cook the chicken in as soup. But this is a whole dish on its own. You can pair it with a nice salad.

6 tsp all spice 2 tsp cardamom 2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp ginger 2 tsp Hawaiian ginger خولنجان 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp cloves Note: you can make it 9 spices by adding 2 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp bay leaves. Also, you can add 1 tsp cumin and 1 tsp coriander.
