This video is certainly not "vegan friendly" with talk of leather & neats foot oil (specifically). Not sure about the beeswax. I used to raise bees and got mixed reactions from vegans. I know many are anti-honey but not sure if that is universal and extends to wax as well. Either way, good to see ya HC!
Hi sir, I'm from Indonesia, I want to ask besides neatsfoot oil, what ingredients can I use to mix leather balm. What oil can you recommend for me to make leather balm without using neatsfoot oil. Is there any other alternative besides neatsfoot oil which uses and results similar to neatsfoot oil

Beeswax can also be mixed with petroleum jelly to make a very good balm/waterproofing for leather. Not sure of the exact ratio for homemade. Here in the States, it is sold in the hair care aisle under the name "Murray's Beeswax." It is a blend that doesn't get hard and brittle like regular beeswax, so it stays very pliable on leather. I have used it a lot on boots and shoes. Hope this helps. It is super cool hearing form someone on the other side of the world. Stay well, friend.
