How To Make Indian Bombay Potatoes
6-7 medium size potatoes, cubed (boil for 5 minutes)
3 tbsp melted butter or ghee
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tsp fresh ginger
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp mild curry powder
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 handful, finely chopped spring onions

Did you forget Asafoetida or it's not in the recipe all most all dishes of potato cooked in indian style has Asafoetida just to ward off bad gas..🙂👍

Looks great although will go the oven way as don't really do big pots of deep frying oil (not that I don't like it or anything)
Just wondering..with all those nice spices why so much salt ??? Will make it sans salt and it will probably be good that way also.

You can of course use less, I prefer using extra salt whenever im cooking with potatoes.
