100 cents was a semi-tone i remember so 400 cents and 700 cents was actually the perfect third and the perfect fifth, both work well in major harmonizing.

This was the fourth video I watched on this subject, and the first one that actually captured the sound of Hyperpop specifically instead of just autotune more broadly.

Omg, I've been making music and use literally the same technique to cut my vocal chops! It takes the most time but I feel like you get to the best result that way :D Didn't know about the Mono setting thanks for sharing your technique!

i would like to say that this helped me months ago, i just had to go back to see how to do the quick syllable thing. very cool tutorial!

In between the mute tool and the razor is that scrubber tool (arrow icon) You can use that to scroll the audio inside a clip to simplify the edit you do at 2:10 So you can scroll which part of the audio from the full file is in the edited clips Cool idea would be to take that full word/syllable/vowel and then chop that one part Make it unique as a sample Then make the glitch edit from there and use the scrubber tool to slide around the parts of the audio from that word in the individual glitches I picked that up from a super old Joey Sturgis tutorial on how he did manual glitches in Cubase for bands like Asking Alexandria back in the day

Too many artists miss the point of the real benefits to technology in regards to music production …it’s not about making it a “one button press solution”… it’s about having a greater amount of control over the final result in ways that used to not be physically possible. They are tools, not solutions. An important distinction!

Honestly, I use about 4 - 6 layers and do it mostly in Adobe Audition for vocal mix, so maybe one day but most don't use that DAW lol
