I made the leave-in yesterday and tested it on a section of hair. My hair wasn't freshly washed either. I was so impressed immediately after I put on. It reminds me of the effect Carefree Gold instant activator had on my hair when I used it a long time ago. Your leave in kept my hair moist to the next day and my pen curls were frozen in place. I love this! I'm about to forget everything else and just use this only.
I made the conditioner, I didn’t have centrimonium chloride so I just used honey instead and it came out great, I will be making the leave in tomorrow, thank you Elise

I'm so happy you have this channel for people like me who are beginners to formulating hair products. I always used products from the store but now I have made my own leave in conditioner, curl cream, shampoo and conditioner, thanks to you I know how to formulate my own products. And I'm very proud of myself for that, it's definitely a learning experience of trials and errors but it's so totally worth it bc I now know what ingredients are in my products.
I absolutely love this channel, thank you for showing us we can make good quality hair products at home that works just as well (if not better) than store bought👏
Thank you so much for sharing these recipes for hair !! You are amazing! Beautiful inside and out! 🙏🏻
Could we one day see your wash and go routine using your amazing products 😊😊☺️. Also a video on an oil mix for hair would be appreciated ❤️.
I found you and I did it!!!! I even used your advice for making the hydrosol and used rosemary and hibiscus. Thank you soooo much.💕💛💕 We have fragrance allergies and cannot use majority of the products on the market. The fragrance free leave-in's I've tried did not provide the moisture I was used to with those that I used prior to learning of the allergy. This recipe is even better than those. I cannot thank you enough. May Yah bless you for sharing your wisdom.💛
I love the way you will prepare and present such great formulas, thank you very much.

Thank you for all the info! And I must say, you have a lovely voice! And of course a beautiful face and hair! I live in Vegas, not sure I can find all these ingredients, never heard of a few of them. Have a beautiful day, God bless, be safe. ❤🙏
Your voice is so soothing 😊
Thank you so much!!
You’re a world wide treasure haha thank you for your knowledge you give so freely.
I ❤ the outcome of the conditioner 🎉. Thank You so much for the leave-in recipe coz I have locs and I really wanted to make it. The last of my ingredients arrived the other day and I started and fnished it today. I substituted a few ingredients. I used glycerin, cetearyl alcohol and added macadamia nut oil & wheat germ oil with the coconut oil (7.5g oils still). I had to add a little splash of more water at the end. The initial part looked like weird porridge but I used a frother and it worked out. Just like store bought.❤😀
Love your accent and it's so soothing
This is so relaxing to watch;)
Thank you SO much for posting this!! I have a lot of allergies and can't find any premade conditioners that work for me so I have high hopes - and it's super helpful how you explain the purpose of all the ingredients

Wow….so detailed…thanks!! Could you add in additional essential oils to the mixture? And should you add them before testing the ph? Or would it matter?
Hi Elise!! Really want to Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your recipes that are simple so so awesome and cool. I look forward eagerly for your videos. Keep making them❤️🎉🙂 Just wanted to check by adding any broad spectrum preservative (I use geogard_ect) to any of the water based cream or lotion, how long can it be stored without opening? What is the shelf life of such products? And shelf life once opened? Thanks again 💕🙂
Was eagerly waiting for the video. Thanks🙏. Mam, plz make a video on making a sun protection gel for oily to normal skin.
Thank you!
How I love watching your videos...
Hello Elise, hope you are doing well! Can you pls show us how to make a 2 in 1 conditioner that can be used as both leave in and deep conditioner? Like something we can use in both occasions but the time we leave it on is different. Thank you so much!❤️❤️

Hi Elise! I love all your videos! Wondering though, can we use hydroxyethyl cellulose in place of the cetrimonium? Or is that an ingredient that we shouldn't sub? Thanks! Hope to keep learning from you❤

Hi, did Elise reply you? Are you in the hair care business now? I need a tutor too. Please, how can I reach you?
hey elise thanks for this great recipe. I just wonder in this conditioner you added hydrolysed wheat protein and panthenol in cool down phase because they are heat sensitive but on your deep conditioner video you add hydrolysed wheat protein in water phase and heat it up. is it best to add it in cool down phase just? thank you
Thank you for this! Where did you buy this particular preservative? Or did you make it?
you 😁🙏 made this and it was lovely! I accidently left some in! 🙈 but where I had properly washed it out - it was brilliant! Just one thing - what emulsifier do you recommend if you are not using BTMS 25 or 50? I have a rapeseed allergy and I didn't realise that BTMS was derived from it - could not understand why - even when I switched to more natural haircare products my head was still itchy, red and sore!! Anyway found the culprit and my head feels wonderfully cool and it's not constantly dandruffy - but a lot of diy conditioners have BTMS as part of the recipe for conditioner 🥴 I have some substitute emulsifiers - but do I use the same amount? Thank you so much! 😁🙏
Thanks for all your KZread videos. They are extremely helpful. But, kindly do a video on how to make Share Moisture's Curly Smoothie, Cantu Curl Defining creams etc.,

Hi @WholeElise✋I just stumbled on ur KZread channel and I most confess that I enjoyed every bit of the tutorial. Elise, do you train on how to produce hair care products? I'm allergic to (feels like) absolutely everything and cosmetics are a big problem, so maybe it's time to just start making my own. Thanks so much for the information
Hi elise, love your video😀. Will love to know if one can just stick with a particular type of preservative or is it that there are different preservative for different formulation cos I see you use different type of preservative for different product.
Thank you soo much for this tutorial. Where can I get the bottle you used for storage

Hi Elise! Thanks! Do these pass for organic? Are the ingredients easy to get?
Hi Elise! I have a question regarding the Vitamin B5. Can I replace it with Vitamin E in the rinse out conditioner? If I do, will it affect the antistatic characteristic of the conditioner?
Have you ever used lecithin as an emulsifier? If so can you compare it to the wax?
This is Shea moisture's conditioner base! Thank you, so tired of spending money on small bottles 😢
Hi, may I know what the shell life and storage conditions of the rinse off conditioner and deep conditioner are? Thank you!
Hi Elise, I absolutely love this channel ❤❤. Just wanted to ask if all the emulsifying waxes are BtMS 25? I purchased from amazon and the ingredients says it has ceteryl alcohol and polysorbate 60, does this work as a substitute to BTMS 25 ?
Love your videos...could you make a solid shampoo and conditioner....
I love your videos.... Mam have you done cosmetic science ? From where you hv persuade cosmetic science? You videos always inspire me ❤💙❤❤
