Harold, I not only used your recipe for jelly, I separated the juice and then put the skins in a processor ground them up and added them back to the juice and made great preserves. Thank you for the recipe. I still have a supply of the jelly and preserves I made in 2015, but I have so many grapes this year. I will probably make more.
3rd year making jelly with your video. Everyone raves about how good it is. I just want to say thanks again for making this.

Glad you like it Thanks for stopping by.
I'm doing it now. My mother did do that way back in the 70's-90's. Though the years. I watched my mother the best I could. When I was looking for how to make the grape jellies of how to do. I seen your video and it brought back members when my mother did the same thing you are doing. I would like to learn more from you if I could.
Best video ever I watch this every year for 6 years and the jelly is fantastic

love your grape jelly video i look at it every year before I can which is what I will be doing today. :)
Beautiful vid as usual. Thanks for sharing.
I have a lot of wild grapes growing on my fence. I hated to let them go to waste so I decided to try to make jelly. I used your recipe because you used a sieve just like one I inherited from my mother. She's been gone for 33 years so that sieve is pretty old. My jelly turned out great and that sieve worked perfectly. Thank you for your video.
Thank you for this video. My grape jelly turned out wonderful!

Great Video!!
Thank you so much we love to help thank you for watching we just put 4 new ones on
I like to make my jellies and jams with Pamona's Pectin. It's great for using less sugar or sugar substitutes. The only substitute I like is Stevia in the Raw, and I usually do half that and half sugar. Only tried making grape jelly from real grapes once and it was one of my first jam attempts. Not that great. This inspires me to try it again next time I get a good deal on some fresh Concords. Thanks for the video!
You can measure by the juice amount if you don't have a scale. Thank you for watching. You can also freeze your grapes and make jelly during the winter.
You are awesome!

Such a great explanation, thank you for this, I know is been a long time since this video was up but it is my first time trying to make some grape jelly, I can’t wait to see how it turns out. I might use piloncillo something my husband told me to use instead of sugar, it is a sweet block of “sugar” he knows from his country, Mexico, so will see how it turns out :-)

We have made it using less sugar and it is delicious. We bought the sure jell less sugar box. You can not do it with the regular sure jell. Good luck and happy canning!
just picked my first batch of grapes today.I made jelly with my dad when I was a kid.I forgot how well now my boys and I are gonna get deep in it THANKS TO YOUR VID.It will be interesting at the least they like doing pickles.
Good vid, I must give it a go.
Yes, we use to do it that way all the time. It takes longer and you have to test your jelly at different times. Let it come to a full rolling boil and let if boil for some time.when it starts to look glazed on top, put a spoonful on a saucer and put that in the freezer for a minute. Hold the saucer sideways and see how fast it is running. If it is slow to run your jelly is ready to go into the jars. It takes practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's not hard. Good luck!
Well, you are right. It is a messy process so I guess I did it right. Wonderful instructions and my jelly is excellent. I did have extra juice left over from the first batch and used it in the second batch. I did not add extra sugar so it is not as sweet. But still, the second batch is great too. Thank you for publishing this video.

Wow i wished i watched you before i did mine, I didn't do the butter, what a great idea! Good news is I have so many more grapes, I just might make some more jelly! What if i don't have a scale to weigh my grapes? Thanks for the great video, next time I will watch before I make my homemade grape jelly.
Thanks bro,really help :D
Thank you so much for this video. I am fixin' to make jelly for the first time from concord white grapes, at least I think that's what they are...lol. They taste like a muskidine to me. My step father planted them for me and this is the first year they really flourished. I have four Wal-Mart bags full right now and probably that much more on the vine. I will let you know how thy turned out. Thanks again!

Thanks, for the info. Were these Muscadine grapes?
I have the same kind of strainer that you do. It was my grandmother's. Did yours come with that stand? The stand I have isn't wide enough for me to get a very big bowl under it.
Do you have to place the jars in a water bath after filling or just fill and let set? I am new to the canning world
Hi, If I want a food mill like you have, what is it called so I can search for one. Thanks for your great video !
