Thank you for this great video. Neat to see your consumer popcorn popper make professional concession popcorn at home. Your advice is helpful. It's awesome that there are household size popcorn poppers like yours in this video that enables you to make movie theater popcorn, carnival style caramel popcorn, and other flavors easily yourself. I plan to use my 8 ounce popper like this one and make various flavors and give away bags of the popcorn as Christmas gifts. They would definately make people very happy year around as well.

The first batch - the kernels which popped early absorbed quite a lot of the glaze, so there was less left at the end. It might be better to pre-heat and add the glaze later.

When it comes to Caramel Popcorn or Kettlecorn, go with Mushroom popcorn. That's your best bet to go with when it comes to this type. It's the fluffiest one that's used for the candied type. Question though, where do you get the GlazePop from? I'm thinking about getting a Whirleypop for it. Now, I'm gonna go on and make some Kettle Corn 😅.

I tried the chocolate and I tried the caramel and both times the popcorn started popping and it was fine but then it started burning and smoking at the very end. Popcorn isn't covered in caramel because Glaze Pop is measured at a 2:1 corn/glaze ratio. So, if you measure 6 grams of corn you need to measure out 3 grams of glaze, etc. Hope this helps.

When are you adding the glaze? If you add the glaze too soon it can burn. Oil, corn and then glaze. Test your oil with a couple of kernels and then add corn. Give it a minute to heat up and add glaze. If that doesn't work I would check the thermostat, it might need to be adjusted to not burn the glaze.

The caramel pops really fast and it burns fast. As soon as it pops, get it out as soon as possible. My first try I had the same problem.
