My favorite gorenoise band is whatever plays on every tv when you are not selecting a channel or have no connection to a channel.

fox mccloud Well, I actually do listen to them! I just didn’t know if I considered pop. I considered them more indie noise rock. They reminded me a bit of Car Seat Headrest. Besides that, good taste man!

I feel like such a douchebag, because I love this video and this actually got me interested in the genre and... I unironically enjoy it now. :(

Think The Downward Spiral from Nine Inch Nails, but EVEN MORE depressive. 2: Take Black Metal, an already dark music genre, and make the songs slower. And add a drone or two. 3: Your lyrics shall involve the glorifying of death and the suffering of living. By glorifying we don't mean just describing it in detail to distur those who listen to you, you have actually hold death as the best thing to ever grace the universe. Make sure to follow the steps of Dead from Mayhem, he is the perfect description of this (Even though he didn't make DSBM) 4: Distribute knifes and sharp objects to your fans in the shows! They will REALLY love to have that after listening to your songs (I'm not even joking here, some DSBM bands actually do that in live performances) 5: Don't have fans. You are an UNDERGROUND genre player, dammit! If you can't help yourself and people actually start to enjoy your music make sure to ramp up the depression and darkness. 6: When you are at the apex of your carrer (Which will be when you feel you created your best song, not when you have the most fame, remenber, you don't have fans!), kill yourself in the middle of a show. Make sure it's as ridiculous as possible. 7: Congratulations! If you did everything without fail you have just gone through the average DSBM band timeline! Also, yu are dead. But really, what else did you expect from a DSBM band? 8: Oh and don't forget to insult Leviathan and it's front member for eventually finding happiness and settling down with a daughter. Can't have HAPPINESS when making DSBM can we?

Gorenoise sounds like a label of a generic stock sound effect you’d find in a MK game. Also, you can avoid it only for so long... but eventually you’re gunna have to do danger musi- I mean power electronics.

@@yerodin1840 "Good" and "Goregrind" in the same sentence is pushing the limits of the definition of "good". The only way i see for someone to enjoy Goregrind is if you have a hatred for life and have an extreme desire to listen to the edgiest and most "cult" music possible. It's kinda like Pornogrind where the sound and lyrics are pure bullsit and yet people will defend it by saying you aren't "prepared" enough for this kind of music. (This is coming from someone who listens to Mayhem, Watain and Napalm Death on a regular basis)

@@VelhoTeste You mentioned Napalm Death, but Goregrind is literally Napalm Death with different lyrics and art themes. Unless you want to make the argument that Goregrind is the same thing as Deathgrind, which is pretty much is, plus or minus a few minor variants. In that particular case, Goregrind is actually more musically coherent.

Another great video on an Intentional Obscurity genre. Glad I stumbled across this as I was about to make a gore noise track and a porncore track only with humour, and mixed so it's a bit more accessible and not so fucking painful. It's sounds like you've done an albums worth for both genres, so maybe I don't need to. However I do need material for my next experimental electronic open mic slot. I also have a band name, would be shame to waste it. B.S.P. it stands for Brutal Silicone Prosthetic (Big Rubber Strap-on). No wait isn't that B.D.S.M.Core, damn I can't keep up with the kids and their sub genres these days.

Thanks for the content. I really enjoy these longer and well produced videos. Early on you had that FolkPunk video that sounded like music that you respected and since then it has been noise genres. I keep hoping that you go back to music that has a more palatable tune. I would listen to gorenoise alot more if it weren't for the album covers. But I still love the sound. Same with any metal/noise hybrid. I like noise music and love metal. So it's the epitome of music for me. (Btw when i saw its the epitome i dont mean gorenoise spiccificaly i mean any extreme metal bands that blend into/with or incorporate noise into there sound )
