Jack I have some tips for you on this game: 1. You need lots of fans to self-publish medium-AAA games, find publising deals to increase your fans quickly. 2. Spend your research points wisely, they will get rarer as you progress. -that said, keep in mind that you want more topics so your fans get more different type of games 3. Marketing is a very important part of a game, it increases hype depending on what you advertise it on, however hype doesn't make bad games good. 4. Don't get too much employees, they are very costy as they level up. -that said don't forget to train your employees on 1 special area 5. Don't make so much MMO games as they are *very* costy to maintain. 6. The G3 (E3 parody) Convention is a useful way to have your WIP game to get lots of Hype -Always attend G3, it gains lots of fans and hype for your game, unless you have absolutely no money 7. Game engines are very costy but they are very worth it, better engines increase your design and technology. -Don't make too much engines, wait until you have lots of researched upgrades for your engine as they are very costy to make. 8. Fans are incredibly more important than money so in case you have a choice, choose what the fans will like the most unless you really need the money 9. Multi-platform games multiply the cost of one game, making a Triple A- MMO for Pc, Playsystem (Playstation parody) and Mbox (Xbox parody) can cost up to 50 million or more. 10. Contracts are only useful early game, it's a quick way to get small amounts of money and research points 11. Games are your best source of money, don't stop making games. -With 1 million fans, even a crappy game that's rated 4 can get you millions. 12. If you make a console, always fund the technology station, this goes to maintenance of your Consoles. -Console are very very costy, making a 100 million worth console is sometimes not enough to battle your competitors 13. Make sure your R & D lab always has something to work on, the upgrades in there are incredibly useful. -R&D labs produce research points if they don't have anything to do 14. Some topics are better suited for different type of gamers, Zombies are mostly Mature while Superheroes are mostly Young 15. Getting a new office is always good unless you don't have money. -always accept the offers that your employees give, these are incredibly useful

Sean, I thank you greatly by playing these tycoons. They are really fun to watch and I enjoy them very much. Then again, thank you greatly.

I found it easiest to mimic topic/genre combo's that are popular irl. This game almost acts like a history lesson of the gaming world. It's also fun to name the games similar to the real ones. I created Super Juarez Bros. before Ninvento even considered creating such a wonderful play former :P

Pls explain

The pluses and minuses are below the three stages in the development areas. Also, when your in those stages, the amount you choose for them alters the bar below them, which is basically the percentage of how much you develop each of those stages, so you'll want larger colored amounts there with the more important stuff, though I wouldn't fully remove the others either, but that might just be me. I'd also change between the game types every so often for a few reasons, for one you'll get more experience on other parts rather then the just the parts that you'll know are important for certain games once you learn how to do so. Secondly there might be a chance fans will expect different types of games, though since I always changed it ever so often, I can't be 100% sure of that. Also there will be times when a certain type of game is more wanted by the public aswell as less wanted, these events tend to happen while developing most of the time, at least they did for me, and when this happens those games either go up in sales or down depending on which one it was, spreading out into different genres will make it harder to fail to make enough sales even when its rated as a great game. Oh, and its probably a good idea to wait and save up your research points for more important things such as the game engine, as you'll always get a chance for more topics later on when your generating more.

For example, a 1st person shooter doesn't necessarily need the programmers to spend 30% of the level on story, the bar that is the highest should definetely be in game mechanics. the bars are a percentage and many people make the mistake of putting EVERY bar as high as possible, which is a horrible idea and the early mark of a failed game company.

Loren Herring Nice 3rd grade joke. Don't name your account your full name and a picture of you. It's not safe for an 8 year old.

Here's a few tips: 1. Go with how history played out, certain consoles do well, others don't. 2. You want to constantly change it up, because people get bored of the same topics and genres, especially if you do the same of both back to back. 3. Engine is useless until you get enough non-topic upgrades to implement in the engine (better graphics, multiplayer, day-night). 4. This game has a multiplayer mod that adds a few neat features like being able to colab on games later on as well as spying and other neat things, though this is active multiplayer so you'd need friends on. 5. You'll want to make similar games as much as possible without making it boring due to the leveling you get from it, hell, that's a neat use of the "trash game" option when it's finished, make for experience and trash. 6. Making bad games gets rid of fans, which work similarly to youtube subs, so you want them around. and finally 7. "Tips" show up on the bar you adjust, and to be fair, they aren't that needed. You can probably figure it out without them, but if you REALLY need them, that where they are.

As soon as you brought up naming your own game I was instantly like "Jacks gonna pick a name with butts in it" sure enough.. You did xD

So, Jack, a few tips for you! 1.Making the same game (ex. making 2 dungeon RPG's in a row) is very bad, your sales will drop because people don't like it when you make the same thing over and over again. 2.Making an engine is VERY important! Make sure you get one ASAP.3.The insights appear just below the sliders for the different game development stages.4.When developing games, market share of the platform you're developing on is also VERY important. So if Pundertale had of been made on the G64 you most likely could've earned 50k more than what you did. It may cost more, but it pays for itself if your game does decent.

i remember playing a game very similar to this years ago on the mobile platform, but was better, i think it looked like a japanese rpg (in english)

Yandere Dev and Tycoon mixed together and this turns up.

A tip for jackaboy: your time allocation is that you only have a limited amount of time to spend on all the 3 things so you should focus on one and less on the others. btw i love this game i am so glad you're playing this. greets from Belgium

Hey jack i went online and found some tips 😅. Sorry. Things you should NOT do 1. Creating two or more games in a row which have the same genre/topic. 2. Developing a sequel/expansion within a year. 3. Developing large games with 2D Graphics V3 or lower or 3D Graphics V2. 4. Developing a AAA game without having 3D V6. 5. Developing a AAA game without having all of your employees specialized.

W0Lv3h - I know, that's what I'm saying. There are also a few achievements for making real-life games in the tycoon, and a few for naming your studio after real-life studios.

A wonderful series.. That's also a forgotten series..
