I’ve made traditional Japanese sawhorses by hand with no nails, screws or glue, and Krenov style mortise and tenon sawhorses, but your design is too cool, I have to make some sets immediately. And paint them fun colors.
I found your channel a few weeks back and have to make you a huge compliment! the joy and motivation you spread is incredible and those saw horses will hang in my workshop soon as well. Thank you for this awesome idea!

Great design Alexandre! Thanks for sharing!
Those saw horses beat the ones in the big box stores by miles! Nice design too!
Great sawhorse design. Thank you for sharing.
Watch out your fingers, man! OMG! Your chanel is brand new and very nice. I hope to watch more videos.

His fingers - yeah he gets really close where others use a plastic thing to do that.
I’ve been looking for a good saw horse design to replace my often broken plastic folding saw horses. This is the best design I’ve seen. Mostly due to the replaceable top cross bar!
Awesome design! When I have a Workshop one day, will use these!
First of all, i love the design of these, they are much sleeker than the ones i have build from pallet material. But why i'll keep watching your videos is because of your enthusiasm! Thanks for your effort!

Thanks man :) jeah i'm super happy :)
This is such a cool design! When adding the final dowel to stop the shelf from falling, I thought you were going to add a track that the shelf could slide up and down on along the legs. Nevertheless, an awesome build!👍🏻
Very creative idea.
I've actually been using those cheap foldable trestle tables with the plastic top and metal legs instead of saw horses. You only need two to support both ends of a sheet of plywood or whatever when cutting it. They can also be used as extra work-table space or whatever too, and they are pretty light and fold down to almost nothing. I've actually been thinking of designing a table-saw setup using them as extension / out-feed tables as space in my garage is limited.
Got to build a set of these, I love them. I like your table saw also, we don't see many of those here in the US.
Lovely simple design. I have the same Bosch Tracksaw system.

@@achappel anyway, your hands stay too near to sawblade, maybe you don't need some fingers? stay safe!
Great design. One could also drill/cut lightening holes/slots in the legs to lower the weight and give it an interesting look....
I told myself yesterday i would have to build some sawhorses for a project i'm about to start, guess i know what design i'm going for :) Subscribing to your patreon at this very moment, you make some high quality video's but your designs really are outstanding. I discovered your channel a couple of months ago and it's fast become one of my favorite ones, great videos both on the practical side and on the entertainment side :) Also, you could have 3d printed a doweling jig or a pocket screw jig, there's several on thingiverse and they are even usable :)

You got it bro woohoooo.....!!!
Hi alexander! Great design. I bought your plans and are planning to build 4 horses this weekend! The thing I am worried about is the alignment of the hinges. It is hard to believe that you got it so accurate as shown in 11:09! A small angle error get amplified by the leg length of course. Any suggestions for aligning the hinges? Ideally, you want to start folded but you cannot mount screws of course. What about just a single screw, fold the saw horse, align and then carefully open it to drive in the remaining screws?
Hey! You should do a restauration on the big clamp. Might be a cool video (:
Most of the time I love those google secret collecting data method….i search something I want and then they show me countless relevant things 🤣
Nice I need to do this. _watches video_ I can't do *_this!_*

haha, thanks! and Yes boss!
So before buying plans what is the height off the floor when set up. Thanks.
Very nice saw horses. I will probably build myself a set. The sacrificial top piece is a nice feature. However, it's good practice to not cut your saw horses when working on them. Normally one would place (2) 2"x4"x8' boards between 2 horses with 4-6 pieces of 2"x4"x4' across them to both properly support your plywood and prevent cutting your horses.
please do a video on chisel sharpening, a simple method please as this would be very helpful to new woodworkers, including hand planes.
@KimbrellBrad

Rob Cosman is an expert on sharpening. He taught me in person but his video's explain it very well! Razor sharp in less than 1 minute once you sharpen them the first time.

What model of Dewalt nailer do you use ? Nice build !🛠💪
How did you accomplish the panning motion at e.g. 7:10? It doesn't look like the usual cropping trick, because the perspective actually changes. Do you have some rails for that?
8:50 Nice side quest
Hi Alexandre. This is the best plan I have seen. I bought plans and I am going to build sawhorses soon. But I am little bit confused from dimensions on plan. Why is "bottom brace" 400 x 90 mm and "hinged bottom brace" 402 x 90 mm? It makes one frame of sawhorse 2 mm wider then other. I can't figure out the reason. Thank for explainnig.
@ewout2211

kawaad kawwad too good design man...
"I don't like the look of this wood let me paint it!" Pink!? Really...pink? Ahaha
Hi Alex. I'm making these as i speak - where in the plans does it show me what size hinges I need to purchase? thanks :)

Would like to download plans for the 3/4 plywood foldable saw horses. Was able to get the one for mm plywood.
02:05 Did you make a perfectly perpendicular cut with the tracksaw, and if so how did you achieve that?
Thanks for the video. Could you tell the name of your table saw and where I could get it. I like the table sled attachment.

Its a old german saw called felder
You hase basically recreated the now out of business Storehorse brand sawhorses.
Nice! How tall are they when unfolded?
Do you draft your own drawings too? What software do you use? Thank you.
nice video, i am curious about the model of tablesaw you are using, maybe you told your audience in earlier videos but i am new to the chanel, would love to know, it seems compact yet powerful and ultra accurate

It's a Felder saw. Made in Germany, but the one I have is pretty old. I think they still make a fairly similar saw.

@@achappel thats why i am asking, i am a carpenter from germany in search of a compact felder and would like a recommendation. i am starting my own garage workshop soon. what is the line you got? something comparable would be near perfect for me. new or used i got some money saved for decent tools ;)
nice video! he clearly went to the david dobrik school of awkward constant semi-laughter
Make yourself a push stick and don't risk cutting your hands off with the saw. 2:54

Always do what you feel comfortable with for yourself. A push stick would definitely have been a good option here, but I judged the distance to the blade to be safe for myself. Stay safe and always use a push stick when in doubt! thanks for watching :)
