HOW TO MAKE FILOFAX INSERTS ON WORD! (2 PRINTING METHODS)

THUMBS UP FOR MORE VIDEOS.
**I will never upload a video this long again!!!! Like I said, I was acting like the viewers had very little knowledge of inserts and such!**

I'll write video times here later (:
Please remember, I did a very very basic insert here, but every insert I've made has been on word! In the thumbnail there is a hyperdex, try adding images to your inserts to get fancier looking ones!! Xoxo, Emma

    I want to come back and tell you thank you! Oh my goodness, I finally have the hang of how to do this now. I have made so many new inserts that fit my Franklin Covey Compact (4.25 x 6.75) planner. I no longer have to wait for a "designer" to get around to making this size for me. It's so easy because I have a base template to always use. Sure, there is a small learning curve but it's totally worth it. I feel so free now! Edit: I am so obsessed with making my own inserts now. 🤣🙃😜

I see that u turn ur printer on and off and you are welcome to do whatever you feel is best ..but something I recently learned in one of my tech classes is that every time you turn your printer on it splashes ink to register ...if you just let it sleep instead you will notice how much ink you save

    This is very good. however, for those of us who don't know the WORD program, i had to look at several steps repeatedly and figure out how to do what you were showing. i.e.: @ 4:53 when you made that box to add a title - i finally found that draw table selection....well that's as far as i've gotten so far and am looking forward to learning how to use WORD more efficiently and to get to see more "how-to" videos. thanks for the inspiration!!!

    I'm in the UK... and I know you probably aren't checking comments on old videos (but fingers crossed you are)... can I just choose A5 as the paper size and follow this tutorial? Or is this video for US large paper size cut in half? Thanks

  • @jananderson8149

    @jananderson8149

    3 жыл бұрын

    Christina, you can follow all the same steps in order but your dimensions in the table and line sizes will be different since the A5 paper is considerably larger. You may, for instance, add more lines for each day or you may make each line larger ( like those with larger handwriting like). Like she mentioned, you have to play around a little to get it the way you like. One nice thing is that here in the US A5 paper is easily available to purchase. I’ve never heard of the personal size paper she mentions, and that is the planner I use. Have fun designing your inserts!
