This might help for those using PC & not MAC for page set up : Page Set Up>Options>Detailed Setting>Custom Paper Size>enter width & height>OK>OK I was not able to name is,it just defaults to Custom Paper

This was most helpful, especially the one tip at the end to save as a .pdf. I have been struggling to print what I make, and I think that may solve the problem. One request: I would really like to make a dated version without having to enter all the dates by hand. Are there tricks for that?

This tutorial really helped me out! Ive bought two planners for this year now only to be disappointed that both had weekly layouts that started on Monday, not Sunday like I wanted! My only question for you (or anyone reading this) how does this work on printing normal sized paper (8.5x11). I plan on purchasing a little bit of thicker printer paper (24 lb to 30 lb) but I wasn't sure how it worked out for others!

+Sandy Prater Found it! Go to the "View" tab and then click the "Page layout" on the top left. (Mine was in "normal" and then looks similar to Wendaful's when I clicked "page layout"). Confusing since there is a "page layout" tab!

Guys who couldnt get past paper size setup... you can just print to the size of paper that you have after clicking print>change paper size to custom and you should be ok

Besides inserts, which are easy, how about making one that works with data.

Hey....I just ran across your blogspot on Pinerest--I was excited to see your planners done in excel. However I am having difficulty following your method. I opened a workbook and attempted to follow the same steps in your video but could not find where you were working to set page size and etc. I see that you have a background behind the workbook where i discovered there is another command bar area with an additional excel, file, edit, view, and etc seperate from the one on the actual workbook itself. This is where my problem lies. Can you help me. :)

what version of excel are you using? I also see you are using an apple computer... so I wonder if that also makes a difference, because in office 2010, I'm not seeing an A5 size, and when I do what I would normally do and make the page size 1/2 of the page, it still doesn't look how your screen does.

btw, I figured out a way that works for my version... I put it in landscape, set the paper size to A4, and then use the 5" mark to divide them in half to make 5x8 sheets... now if you want erin condren size sheets, you'd want to copy her measurements and not necessarily use landscape, but I wanted to be able to print 2 to a page, so that's how I did it... I don't need these kind of inserts at this time, but if I go to a ring binder planner, I'll be ready :D

I have to say I could not follow this tutorial. I notice lots of ppl asked what version Excel you were using. as well as other questions. I don't ever see a reply to their questions. It would have helped others with the same question. Sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
