How to Make Faux Leather Santa's Milk & Cookie Earrings with a Cricut

In this video I'll show you how to make these adorable Santa's Milk & Cookie Christmas Earrings using faux leather, heat transfer vinyl, and a Cricut. This is a great Cricut Christmas craft perfect for Cricut beginners. I'll show you how to cut faux leather with your Cricut cutting machine and then how to apply layers of heat transfer vinyl to faux leather to create these festive Christmas accessories for your wardrobe.

Hello Amy, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your presentations. I've been following you since my first summit in early 2022. Your earrings are adorable! I love the fact that you make it easy for us to follow along while you explain everything step by step. I especially love the fact that everything we need for the project is in one file folder. I was so busy gushing I forgot to ask my question!! I've never worked with faux leather. I've heard you say we can substitute permanent vinyl for the HTV, but is there a material I can use to sub out the faux leather? I have TONS of vinyl and I'd love to make your projects if there is an alternative to the faux leather. THANKS!!

Hi, Gwen! Thanks for your message. Yes, you can use layered cardstock instead of faux leather. If you are following along with the event, I have a link to a bonus video on how to swap out the faux leather with layered cardstock for many of the projects. The link is on every event daily project page. :)
I absolutely love your videos and projects. But was really disappointed that when i got the time to sit down alone and watch the projects they had already expired and i was unable to watch.
