Thank you for your tutorials Laura. I really enjoy them. I appreciate that you don't have us sitting watching you while you sew something, unless it's vital to what we are learning. I look forward to what you have instore for us next time. I also love the tips and tricks that you teach. I have learnt a lot and I've been sewing for 58 years. I started when I was 9. You can never know too much.

Great idea! I am both a sewing enthusiast and a paper crafter. I have a paper punch board made by We Are Memory Keepers to create custom envelopes. It has a chart on the board that gives measurements as to what size square or rectangle will produce a certain size envelope. I don't know if it will punch fabric but I will be utilizing the chart for fabric measurements. Thank you for giving me another "brainstorm".

Consider running ends of little fraying ribbon over a flame to heat seal. Makers of hairbows use this technique with a candle or bic lighter. It works well. It could be used with fray check too. seal then check. Thanks Laura.

Another great tutorial Laura! I love your choice of fabrics, not just on this one but all of your projects. I get into the fabric store or online and start this...should I put this one or this other fabric. I seem to not be able to make up my mind and all I do is drive myself crazy, lol. You start with a pile of fabrics and I think oh boy she's putting those together and when you are all done with the project they always look fabulous! I hope that will come to me with more experience. Happy sewing and thanks for sharing your knowledge with all of us. Suzee

I just loved this. I love how you explain the WHY of things. My brain is always racing ahead whywhywhy... lol. I plan on making a few of these and attaching them to adult bibs for the local retirement home, so that loved ones can leave little love notes for their loved ones. I wonder if you could figure a way to permanently close three sides, so they elderly would not have to fidget with those. Any idea? When my mom was a teacher, I would make her lunch every day, and she would find a love note, sometimes a rose in a ziplock filled with water (think glass ball kinda); stuff like that. Her co workers were jealous. I think perhaps, it would brighten the days of the elders too... 😘❤️ God Bless. Please reply if you know how to close it sides and bottom. Thank you, and thank you for your tutorials. Now. To figure out if the interacing I have is the correct one lol!

OK. I appreciate you taking to respond to my question and for providing a solution. I ended up using eyelets after all and it worked out just perfectly.
