WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
2 1/2 Cups Baking Soda: amzn.to/1nazG5L
1/4 Cup Citric Acid: amzn.to/1Qno8rK
1 Cup Epsom salts: amzn.to/1nazLGK
Rose Essential Oil: amzn.to/1NlkisK
Spray Mist Bottle: amzn.to/1S5FsRU
Witch Hazel: amzn.to/1NlkrfD
Rose Water: amzn.to/1Qnodf5
Heart-Shaped Silicon Mold: amzn.to/1nazweH
Mixing Bowl: amzn.to/1S5FR6T
METHOD:
Into mixing bowl add dry ingredients and combine well.
Add oils.
Now this is the tricky bit. If you add too much of the witch-hazel this will active the soda, so gently mist in witch-hazel or pour in a very small amount and continue mixing until MIX is still a bit dry, but able to be pushed into mould. Leave to dry several days until hard then store in an air tight jar.
I filled mine with shells and a few strands of pearls.

Hi. I have taken 100g of baking soda, 50g of citric acid and 200g of epsom salt. Few drops of your choice of essential oil and 70% alcohol. I also used some colorant suitable for bath bombs. It worked like a bomb. Keep it in the mold for a day. Perfect.

I just finished making three batches of bath bombs. Since there are so many recipes I tried three different recipes. Let me tell you, yours is the only one that worked. Lesson learned Astar is always right 😀

2angelmommy hello, thanks for your message. I agree with you in so far as 'not all recipes' work as stated. I've had some real disaster believing what I observed.

the way to avoid the mixture swelling up in the molds is to mix the bicarb of soda first with around 1 tablespoon of oil and 2 teaspoons of fragrance oil,, then add in the citric acid afterwards,, and then you must SLOWLY use a spritzer of witch hazel a little at a time until the consistency of damp sand. This will stop the swelling up in the molds, which is caused by the reaction. rose water is the same as water and this makes it worse. So only use witch hazel or rubbing alcohol.

Thank you for this I'll be keeping this to try at some point. Question-you use baking soda and I also have a couple of things from our American friends that use it - but what is it? I live in the UK. We have bicarbonate of soda or baking powder. I have also admired your sofa - it looks so inviting! My son has a bath with epsom salts after a gruelling football match, it draws out impurities and puts magnesium into the blood and relaxes muscles.

Without citric acid bath bomb wouldn't foam because baking soda reacts with citric acid and then the bomb spreads like foam. If you don't have citric acid then you can use suger free lemon juice powder or orange powder.
