How to make epoxy resin Ocean Wave Knife Handles with totalboat resin
See how easy it is to create these beautiful Ocean Wave Knife handles or scales and mount them to blade. We used MakerPoxy and Thickset epoxy both from totalboat along with dark blue, green and white dye. We used a hair dryer and a small butane lighter to blow and heat the resin and create the waves.

Try 2 or 3 dots of super glue on each piece drill them then pop them with a screw driver works great 👍
Thank you for the tutorial. Turned out lovely! I just cut up a bunch of epoxy scale material, and oh-my-gosh what a mess that stuff is! I may never use them. Such a mess! It must take you an age to clean it all out of your shop!

Did you also etch the flats as you did salt life ?

Yes the flats are also electro etched but with no vinyl stencil. Texture is from texture of the gauze wrap on etching plate
What material did you Glue to the back of the scales?
You can use this resin on plastic???
