im not a pro but the bassline is more like Melbourne bounce then slap house its not a big issue since slap house & and future bounce are booth pretty close to Melbourne but its not actually very typical for slap house to go only on the 8th offbeat between the kicks... it usually has 16th variations a lot or some on kick hits like in future bounce...

in this example the track was originaly made by alok and vice, alok has a lot of experience with slap house and also goa (which for example is also very close to Melbourne) and vice is a slap house and deep house dj who uses a lot of dark Atmosphere and plucky basses...the point is booth did a lot of Melbourne before slap house got as popular as it is now, therefore the stylistic reference
