How to make Deadpool Costume - Deadpool's Swords and Back Sheath

In this apprenticeship I teach you how to make the mouthy Merc's katana's modeled after the new Ryan Renyolds Deadpool and used in Ronnie Street Stunts video which you can find here:
• Deadpool Parkour
This is a really awesome looking prop and will be the perfect build for your up coming Deadpool cosplay!!
This build is made of easy to obtain plastics like PVC and can probably be built in only 4-6 hours (not including painting time) and will cost about $30 in used materials and the rest can be used for other builds. It is made of Comic-Con friendly materials . So no matter whether your Deadpool cosplay will be for a Convention, to watch the movie for the 10th time, or for filming a fan film this prop build will hold up to the closest of scrutiny and will wow all your cosplay friends.
The materials are easy to work with, takes minimal tools, and can be done in your apartment or a small space as you can see in the video :) You don't need a lathe or other large woodshop or metal working tools to build and it is stronger and more water resistant than paper, cardboard or other materials.

Waoooo que buen video
I like it, I haven't checked yet but if you haven't already please make a Daredevil costume but the one from the tv show before the "red" one. The black one, I've been trying to get that together for ever but I've been mainly having issues with the "mask" I read somewhere that it's made from a cotton mesh so the actor could see through it for all the fight/parkour scenes. Something like that, if you could dig up some more info that would be fantastic! :D

Thanks for the excellent tutorial, it really helped. I was wondering if you might be able to suggest any alternatives to the Polly plastic. It looks like a really great material to work with but unfortunately it is a bit out of my price range. So far I haven't been able to come up with any alternatives (especially for the crosspiece guard as I don't know anything that could mold around the PVC like that). Thanks.

+Ethan Szabo There are other brands of moldable thermoplastic such as instamorph, polymorph, and friendly plastics. But they are all around the same price points and from what I found I prefer Polly Plastics for my uses because it blends better into itself and sticks better to things like PVC. Polly Plastics comes in smaller container sizes though which you can get that don't cost as much. Also, if you look in the description of the video I have a way for you to get 20% of the tub of Polly Plastics which is a steal of a deal :)

+Wazilian LaG not on the oven, dude. On the burner. Just hold the tube there as like you were making marshmallows [?] lol you'll feel it's becoming flexible then you're done to press it... It doesnt take much, you can turn on 2 burners to make it faster.

+SupeerFranzi Oh, haha. Gotcha. It is the same moldable plastic I use on most of my builds. I use one called Polly Plastics! I died the plastic red so it would show up better on camera, it is normally just white. :)

+Hollie Studd I had to up the price because the service I use takes a cut of each sale and with what I got in the end wasn't enough to cover the cost of the service :(
