How to Make Custom Leather Patch Hats
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I’ve always wanted to make my own leather patch hat. I’ve made the patches before but I’ve never sewn it onto a hat. This was a fun project and I can’t wait to make more!

My wife just randomly started making shirts and it’s taking off so now I want to make hats/belts!

@@JuicyBrisket that’s awesome!
We do quite a bit of leather patch caps. Try the spray glue to tack those patches to your hats. It’s super easy and you don’t need a lot of it to do what you need to do. It’s the 3M high strength 90. I tried to post a link, but it wouldn’t let me for some weird reason. Maybe it’s the associate link or something. I love the UV printer. It’s on our to buy list for sure! And yes, a sewing machine is almost a necessity if you’re doing any number of those caps.

It was a fun project. I’ve been looking for excuses to use it more.
Wow! What an awesome video. I will use this to teach our class. We have a speedy trotec and a versa uv printer! What kind of flatbed printer or dtg printer!

I have a LogoJET UV Printer.
Only thing I would skip is the leather conditoner you applied will actually significantly ruin adhesion. Its not a cleaner, its a conditioner, so has lots of waxes in it, which obviously are very resistive. You shouldn't need to clean it at all, or if you want you can just use a regular water on a damp rag.

Water may work. There has to be some cleaning from the laser machining. It may not require conditioner though.
What logo jet printer is that? Seems easy to use.

I have the UVx40 R Plus. It took a little bit to understand but not too long. It’s been really good. I mainly only do flat items right now and that’s been really easy to get up to speed with the basics. If you have questions, let me know.
Is the link for the adhesive promoter not working?

You're welcome to make your own video showing a different method. I'm just showing projects that I make with the equipment that I have.
