The slingshot video was amazing! The precision, power, and speed of the shots were impressive. The person in the video is clearly skilled and experienced with slingshots. I was on the edge of my seat watching each shot hit its target with force and accuracy. It's a great example of slingshots as a serious weapon and tool for hunting and sport. Can't wait for more videos like this!

I don't know how many times I've watched this, I always follow this channel when it's called weaponizer because i like diy crossbow. I have long downloaded this video and saved it on a flash drive

Use a piece of credit card inside your tape

The fletches are brilliantly simple ive been stuck on those. My crossbow cobra r9 uses crappy bolts so I got some brass tubes the same size they'll be 4-5x heavier than standard I think.

If i snap a aluminium bolt for my xbow u saw off the broken part and find ash doweling that fits into the shaft were the flights are then i add superglue push it in let it dry sand it smooth and then i cut a medieval style broadhead obvs a lot smaller temper it and sharpen it to a razor edge both sides cut a small grove in the dowl were i intend on fitting the head ad a bit of glue to either side of the thinner unsharp sides of the broadhead let it dry but as its drying i whip it with dental floss one layer then when its dry i really make it tight with more superglue and dental floss the ash is way heavier then the aluminium and the 2mm steel sheeting i use for the broadhead is super hard and sharp as sin after tempering even from my 90lb target bow if it hit a person in the chest there a gonner ive taken hog and deer with my fixed bolts so they definitely work and when you shoot trees or any wood be prepaired to make another broadhead as they lodge so deep past the blades there impossible to get out i make them as a matter of course for my cobra rifle crossbow as the draw weights like 80lb with a tiny prod the only thing they hunt unmodded is my patient's as they wont even stick in a phoje book modded they go right thru and as its got a few pic rails and a scope ive fitted a tortch and laser on the other side i made 20 micro broadheads and thats my rabbit and crow shooting rig ive taken crow at 25m and rabbit with bodyshots at 45meters with nearly a complete passthrough only the fletchings stopped it lol i swere i should sell em id make a fortune so many people have these cruddy xbows now why not sell them some decent ammo they could actually hunt for food with

Good stuff you do mate. Im trying to put together an airbow with a 9/12v solenoid trigger for fast dumping of the air/co2 chamber. Would love to see you take up a design for this.

use a step drill to make a taper in the arrow head then taper the wood shaft to match, the shoulder you cut WILL snap

Crossbows do not use nocks on the bolts. Arrows used in bows use nocks so they don't move. Bolts only need to be pushed, and the back of it only requires a shallow depression. 11:36 Using a nock as you're trying to is highly dangerous, especially if while trying to seat the nock, you discharge the bow.

I absolutely agree, as it just happened,,, no knock at all!!! The cross bow bolts are a different style. I cut down some compound bow arrows,,, thinking it would work.. No,, just no!!! I could even show the video,, I knew it wouldn't work, but was prepared to try, as i bought 3 new strings,,, mate at 175lb draw weight,, that bow string exploded, tje limb tips went flying somewhere,, thankfully it didn't destroy the limb.

instead of putting a full cut on the end for your nock just cut a v less chance of hanging a bolt and mild steel cannot be hardened like that

need a stronger nock/weaker point

Some machinist lubricating oil would really help you out while you drill the sockets into the bolt heads.

not bad , though x-bow bolts don't require the notch at the end for the sting like arrows do, just a side note to save you some work later on down the path

no problem , although if you x-bow is big enough to hold a normal bows arrows length then there is no reason not to add the notch , as then your able to use them in both styles of bow , always enjoyed x-bows great for hunting without spooking nearby game
