Yeah, you saved the day with this one. Bogo deal on the tofu, got 2. Failed miserably trying to pan fry the first block, had to toss it. Found this, didnt need to pan fry (no oil) and it was quick. Wish I could post a picture of it but it turned out great, thank you so much

390 degrees for ~7 minutes shake then ~5 minutes.

I cooked them for 7 at 420 degrees and they didnt come out as crispy

Omg i wanna thank you so much for sugesting potato starch as an alternative my little sister has a fairly severe corn allergy that has been getting worse. This made her feel so seen. She is actually crying a little bit. We have been wondering if potato starch would be an equivalent alternative and hearing someone else mention it is weirdly relieving 😅. Thank you! My little sister says she wants to give you a hug. (Crispy is her absolutly favorite food texture)

Yeah in my house we just use potato starch now and it's a nice cornstarch substitute:D

If I remeber right nick giovani a chef that makes KZread vids uses potatoe starch for fried chicken says it makes it nice and crispy 🙌🏽

To avoid some dishes you could shake up some coatings in plastic bags. I love using ziplocks for shaking the coatings and leaving to marinate.

Everything was included except you skipped the temperature of the air fryer. :) I assume 400 degrees?

i did 185 Celsius

dang i made this, I wish it turned out the way it looks. I think the tofu was too dry rip

This did not work for me. My hard tofu block disintegrated when I was taking it out of package and more so when I pressed.

But where’s the seasoning?

So I made this for dinner tonight trying to be a bit healthy. To be honest the flavor was there because Tofu picks up whatever u put on it, but overall it was kinda mid.

I would use 2 teaspoons of soy sauce it will male you sick and gassy to use tablespoons
