Irish cream liqueur like baileys is always a solid option, I guess that would make it like a latte martini then though
I’ll be keeping the rest of the amarena cherries 😉
This one was strong on the aroma and the taste! Good thing I love coffee! Can't wait to shoot the next episode to bring something new to the cocktail world! ;)
My twist on Espresso Martini is with an Armenian apricot brandy as a base spirit and amaretto Disaronno liqueur. Paired really well with Lavazza Rossa, moka pot brewed. Lemon peel for garnish. Delicious

Kevin, you've outdone yourself again! I do batched cocktails for my Dungeons & Dragons group every few weeks. This one will go great with a Sunday "brunch" / all day session we have coming up. I hope you continue to make batched cocktail recipes in the future!

how to drink used to be my go-to booze channel. safe to say you've replaced him, when it comes to creative, informative and classy videos. @@KevinKos You are too kind Kevin. 🤩
I use mine with Baileys and brown cacao shaken.
Thanks for the great effort and awesome content! Is it possible to use the nitrous chargers with a regular isi whip or do I have to buy an extra whipper?
@KevinKos
2 жыл бұрын
If you can find N2 cartridges that fit your regular whipper, then use the same whipper you already have. Isi has bigger N2 cartridges so it requires a different siphon. Just don't like it with N2O (regular cream whipping gas) since that will yield different results.
You can get the amarena cherries from Lidl during Italian week.

I've definitely gone for a sweeter variety for my Expresso martinis. 1oz coffee liqueur, 1oz Bailey's, a double shot of Expresso, and an oz of simple syrup. Shake til frothy
hello kevin, could you share the recipe for the mead from beegroni episode? or give us some tips how to choose a good one at the store

Hi Kevin. Love the video! How many servings does your nitrous recipe make? And what is the shelf life?
@KevinKos

It depends on the glass volume but it should be good for around 8 cocktails. Use it in 4 days

For the nitrotini*
What would you recommend for a replacement of the sweet vermouth? What do you think of licor 43? Or removing it entirely would measurements stay the same?
This is the exact justification I need to get an iSi Nitro.

Do you have to pour them all at the same time once you start releasing the pressure or can you return it back to the fridge
I’ve already had mine made. Orange mocha mr blackuccino

How much is 'one shot' of espresso in ml?
Can you definitely use two N2 charges per 1L siphon whipper? I thought it was just one for the nitro version?
@KevinKos
Жыл бұрын
I found some instructions where it's stated that you can use, but if you are unsure about it, use one.
Completely off topic - but just curious, when you first started making cocktail videos, how long did it take for you to publish one? Secondly, how much time does it take nowadays?
@KevinKos
2 жыл бұрын
I started in May 2020. We are a team of three and we published the same week we filmed the first episode. Nowadays it takes about 6-8 hours to film one episode but about 40 hours to make it. Making the recipe, testing, writing the script, filming, editing, and publishing... Thank you!
Hey Kevin! I just tried the nitro-tini and when I went to pour it out of the whipper, it came out without the cascade effect and was mostly bubbles. Any tips?

Did you use the N2 cartridge or it was N20 (regular cream whipper cartridge)?
@jakejavitch6364

@@KevinKos I think it was the regular one, I’ll try to find some of the N2’s!
how many days can I keep it in the fridge?

It's good for up to 7 days in a siphon.
Hi Kevin, I am BRIJESH from Bombay (India). I wanted to understand the technique of using liquid nitrogen for clarified cocktail so that it doesn't loose any flavour of ingredients used to make that cocktail. Please help me understand how it works?

man mr black has been sponsoring so many videos, i just cant believe its that good. they are pushing it way too hard.
What is that little bottle with salt on ?
@KevinKos
2 жыл бұрын
20% saline solution. 20g salt mixed in 80g of water.
Just a caution, you need the large 1L whipper for this. I realized this about 3/4th into pouring my ingrediants into my 500ml Whipper lol
saline solution is basically just salt water, right? How can I make it myself?
@KevinKos
2 жыл бұрын
It's a 20% saline solution. Mix 20g of salt with 80g of water. Cheers!
I've always been a bit confused about the purpose of a coffee liqueur in a recipe that also uses coffee as an ingredient. Seems redundant, right?
@KevinKos

It seems redundant but still, freshly brewed coffee gives a different taste and texture that the one in coffee liqueurs so it's needed in some cases.

You can pronounce Vermouth correctly (as it is in Slovene) as just about every language in the world pronounces it the same way except for people who speak English who get confused when they see the French spelling. If anyone gives you guff about pronouncing it correctly, I back you up!
