I turn old Belfast sinks into planters in a similar way. On the last coat of cement I add 50% of compost. The sinks then go green and look very natural in a short time.

Hello thank u again for this wonderful idea . I am working on making this since yesterday but bit bigger ..I just used cement and jute it's been one day but I feel the whole thing is bit brittle so I added another layer of cement . should I use gravel along with cement to maKe it stronger or just cement and jute will be enough ?? Could kindly help me with that🥺😊
