How To Make Botanica Pads 100% From Scratch
Музыка
Everyone seems to be infatuated with Botanica's light, delicate and natural sound design, but I was wondering if we could somehow turn these styles of sounds into actual playable pads? What's going on everyone, today I will be showing yall how to create botanica style pads completely from scratch! I did some experimenting around last week when watching some botanica sound design tutorials and thought what if I tried to combine these tricks into some kind of wavetable synth so that I can actual make a playable instrument and that is exactly what i'm going to be showing yall here today. I really like how these sounds came out, and I hope you do too!
Thank you guys so much for watching ♥
Don't forget to leave a like if you enjoyed, and a sub would really be appreciated!

Thank you bro thar was my exact thought too ! Really coould add a bunch of texture to a Liquid or Ambient DnB track!
Nice work man! I think the one thing I'd change about Vital is having multiple sample oscillators. But it's such an awesome tool, especially considering it's free! I definitely need to spend some time working on some core sound design, and Vital is definitely top of the list in terms of tools to use. There's a guy on KZread called Eric Bowman who has some incredible sound design tutorials for Vital. A proper synth wizard! If you're after something a bit similar that can handle multiple samples, Ana2 is a cool synth to check out. Not free, but also not as pricey as Serum. Keep up the great work man!

Thank you so much Mick I really appreciate it! I love watching Eric’s videos man, I have no clue how he became so well knowledged in sound design it’s really mind blowing to me! I’m really only starting to scratch the surface of sound design currently and he’s on the complete other side of the spectrum! I definitely have to check ANA out again, I remember trying it out YEARS ago when it was part of the Steven Slate subscription program bundle but I was even MORE of a noob to electronic music at the time so I never really gave it a proper crack! Thanks again for the suggestions man!
Great tutorial!

Thank you so much bro! I’m glad to hear you liked it :-)
you can load samples into the wavetables in vital, but there are a few settings you have to tweak for them to play back properly

I definitely have to look more into that for sure bro, I was testing it out initially with the pitch slice mode and routing an LFO to play through the audio sample but I definitely need to dive into it a bit more

@@SleepyVibesOnly_ yea it's been a while since i did it so unfortunately i forgot how at this point, but i remember you do have to link an lfo to the wavetable position, and then you gotta change some settings in the waveform config to remove some clicking or something but i'm not sure

@carson2889 that actually makes a lot of sense bro I have no idea how to work the wavetable editor and the main problem I was having was that clicking! I definitely gotta tap in to some more vital tutorials to get the hang of the wavetable editor
Yo whats the background music? sounds really sick

Thank you so much bro it’s all made by me :-) all the songs used in this video are from my newest EP “Two Way Street” under the artist name “John Serra” if you would like to give them a listen on your own time :-)
This reminds me of the notes from Eden - cant
