Love these cards! The one with that was using the background die on the black card is my absolute favourite - love the brightness against the black. I love birthdays, especially my own and even more as I get older! Will be 67 next month and can't wait! Yay! Fab video, thank you. xxx💖💖💖

I love how your cards come together so quickly. I ALWAYS overthink mine and it takes me so long to do just one (but I make the same card in different colors). All the cards were wonderful!

Adding washi to the hello card was a great idea! Those squares and rectangles from the plaid card would be great as gifts -- stack a bunch and add washi or ribbon as gift ribbon. :) I did that for Christmas cards last year.

I tend to over think personalized cards, too. I love the idea of making a bunch of backgrounds and then going from there: the recipients favourite colour, style, +/- sassy sentiment, etc. my fave was the two-fer with big purple HELLO. Like you said, it had it all: colour, texture, impact, birthday sentiment. Boom!

Love your magic mug. I copied but mine is two little boxes, one holds random backgrounds made playing with techniques and one box holds random die cut elements. AND, they sit right in front of me so I remember to use them. What a great idea. I like the cards you created today. Fun to make cards with bits and bobs.

LOL your 'butt ugly' background was my favorite out of all of them! 😂 Still loved your tip about using something that you don't like. You can always die cut words, use it as a layer, etc. Great video, thank you!!

I love using my Lindy‘s Magical (or Distress Mica Stain) backgrounds for die cutting florals: the shimmery green makes for amazing foilage and all the rest for the florals - Amazing (capital a😂). Love your simple but oh so effective ideas for getting more out of our stamps (water spritzing, in particular, I will have to try!). Thank you so much for your fab videos, Kind regards from Germany, Nicola

If I'm "heavy" visually toward the fold, I just make the card a little narrower. Nobody cares if it's 4 x 5.5!
