I would have to say. Now that I’m working on my first EP. The long process is better. I take the time to really process what I want to say, how i want to hear it. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t lol. But it’s really teaching myself to fall in love with the process. That’s where the butter is.. amazing video 🙌🏾

Right here with you, halfway done with a full length. Looking forward to hearing your music. Subbed.
8:06 100% favor 1st instinct. I always aim to capture the first moments of a creation bc I feel they're the most special. For me overthinking allows other unnecessary things (like what other people will think or "what's cool") to overshadow the authenticity of the original idea. Being cool may not always resonate with people but being true to yourself will!
My days go like this. I wake up I watch a creative minds video and then I fucking COOK. The creative inspiration I get from these are a godsend. Makes me feel like I took the limitless pill 💊
As long as you’re putting your full heart into it, you got nothing to trip about. Give 100% all the time and believe in yourself and your purpose🫡
daaaaaamn "i do feel like, when something is over-cooked, it doesn't taste good"
One of the last things ALC was "Care about your craft..." I can't agree with that anymore. So on point.

Alchemist is the best!
🔥🙏🏼
I’d definitely say a balance between the 2 but I prefer a long process. But incorporating both is necessary I think. Just need to know when to do the one instead of the other

I look at it like this. When inspiration is there, just record it. Get it down somewhere. This stuff is gold. Even if it isn't right for the song you are working on right now, it might be for the next one. The long process is way less romantic but this is where most of my songs actually get made. But I draw from those bits when inspiration struck. One last thing. You don't have to believe in anything to make great music. You just have to trust the process. 👊
I never comment on youtube videos, but this was on! wise words from the masters!

Nah son this shit really helped fr
THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR FEATURING MY SONG LOVE YOUR GUYS CONTENT!
Dope perspective, who are your top 5 producers active today?
Alchemist and Kenny Beats should never be mentioned in one sentence.
He's right about the first instinct thing. I don't this Kenny is saying never refine shit, but more that the realness of what you first come up with is going to be a lot more interesting and relatable to the listener than the thing you spend 8 hours on.
Insights from those that have dun shit.

Hey, how can I send my beats over to you for you to use it and score some other video of yours?
Here for long game
What kind of Swoup is you making?
I genuinely wonder if Kenny did not enjoy a lot of his time in loudpvck… a lot of interviews he for lack of better words kind of shits on what seems like that time of his life. Personally Loudpvck was my favorite duo and genuinely made music I loved
How many of these channels will be made with these copy and past videos damn
I used to Rap...Blah blah. Then I got into Beat creation. Blah blah... All I've been doing is Posting my Progress of RE-LEARNING how to create Music on random Machines. I'm not sure My Stuff will catch 🔥 and I don't care (kinda) I just LOVE learning new stuff. Playing with New Gear. One day I'll record a "Rap" for FUN...IDGF. It's all therapy... But.... I feel like ITS MORE and I'm just afraid of Success.
I'm a beat maker and I really hate sampling....I rather create my own thing
Sometimes I wish the producers who I actually give a sh*t about would make videos like this..
My "friends" are haters, so I'm not waiting on them to give me approval. People are weird, they'll hear a known producers /beatmakers beats and say yeah that fire, but you'll play your beats and they'll become so critical about every little thing. Then I'll do an experiment where I'll play one of my beats but say i got it off another producer and they'll say oh that's dope. I think people like things based off association. This isn't all the time because you can have trash beats but alot of the time its association. I've heard subpar beats from known beatnakers but because a well known rapper gets on it all a sudden people say its fire..thats association programming. The other thing that happens is where people you know don't believe that talented people can be right next door to them, many believe talented people are far away some where not near them, so for them to acknowledge you is difficult but if your behind the t..v. screen then its believable to them. (Ok im done..but think about it)

I have done this too and exactly the same shit happened, I played a beat of mine with a lil baby acapella and they said it was fire because they thought it was a leak and when I played my other beats they said they were trash

Alchemist stays doing the same old same old, working with the same dudes over and over. He has no actual hits, no charted singles and just continues to ride the coattails of black men while he make his lil sausage party tunes. Also I'm gonna need him to pay for the uncredited Mary J sample on Disappearing Ink cause him being a white man in hip hop and stealing from the Black Woman of the genre who he'd never actually work with isn't it.

he had no control over the color of his skin when he was born but he choose to make hip hop because its what he likes. if you're black, be proud that your people have created a style of music that people worldwide adore.

🏆 congratulations kill joy the hater cup champion 2023 you done lost your mind
This new stuff it takes like 30 people to make a beat. When it only takes one person to make a beat. And it all sounds the same.
