Season salt is very very strong. From the looks of how much you put on there. that chicken looks like it is going to be very salty. WOW maybe the brand that you are using is not as strong as Lawrys but just a little equals a lot with Lawry's

Dear Jay: Made this tonight for dinner and never in 29 years, have I seen my hubby rave about any chicken dish and I am a pretty good cook lol. It was absolutely delicious, if I must say so myself. I didnt marinate overnight (last minute decision) but even for an hour, the chicken just absorbed all the onion flavor. He wants you to know that you are the best in the world lol. Made him a plate for work lunch for Saturday and he said he doesnt know if he can wait that long to finish it off. Super, Jay!!!

sup! to cut your soaking time in half. what I do (when I need to cook some good food fast) is poke holes in the chicken. add the seasoning after carefully cleaning it and massage the the seasoning into the meat let it sit for 30 mins. and the chicken taste like its been soaking overnight. I have only tried it with chicken.

I made this recipe tonight I got to say this is the best oven BBQ chicken I ever had along with the red potatoes. The seasoning was perfect with the 24hr marinade. This was the third recipe of yours I tried in a week and all 3 were stellar I made the fried chicken, Stouffers Mac and Cheese and this. Keep up the great work in teaching people how to cook
