Thank you so much! :D :D
Loved your video, thank you for explaining all the small details! I have made my own bombs before but I can never get them out of the mold I think I over fill them. Going to try your recipe next time 😁
Looks like fun! Will try this!!
You have a great voice for videos! and such fun editing. :) If you hold out the citric acid until after you've mixed the rest of the dry with the wet, then you can just dump in the wet stuff without worrying about activation. Also, I'd recommend a couple grams of polysorbate 80 so that your micas, oils, and EOs will disperse well in the water and rinse cleanly off the tub.
This recipe yields five 3" bath bombs, plus a little extra. Let me know if you give this recipe a try!
One suggestion, add citric acid last
Hi there just found your video and I wanted to make my own bombs. I m wondering if I can use scent Epsom salt and not use the citric acid? Or is this what make the fizzy?
Thank you for your video! Is there any chance you have the recipe by weight? 😊
I've been getting lost in bath bomb recipes and what some folks say to "definitely do" and then others say "definitely don't"... my first batch I used the exact ingredients you did here. The mica powder floated on top of the water and I had to wipe out the tub afterward. I read that using polysorbate 80 helps that. I made a batch today using polysorbate 80 and they're drying now. Have you used polysorbate 80? What's your take on it?

I haven't tried polysorbate 80 yet, but I'd like to sometime soon. How did yours turn out?

@@CraftcoreDIY Too wet! Couldn't get them out of the molds... but that could have been too much oil mixture or too much water added. The one that did come out clean mixed into the bath water much better than without the polysorbate 80. I'll keep experimenting!
Trust me... Don't pack the molds at all. Just overfill by a lot and then push them together
