I haven't made one of those in ages. Last one was on my Das-SPLAT! idunno, 25 years ago now? Anyway, thanks for reminding me, as I'm gonna use it now on my little 'Sky Tiger 250' from Willie Nillys.

On all foam airplanes (think Flite test.com) I usually use blenderm medical tape. On some foam core wings I have used this method.
That isn't an X hinge. It is an okay way to seal the gap.
