TOOLS:
WOF x 6” fabric rectangle
2 safety pins
7” piece of ¼” elastic
Thread
Coordinating or complimenting thread
Straight pins
STEPS:
Press each end of your fabric over ¼”.
With right sides together, stitch fabric together forming a tube. Make sure to backstitch on both ends.
Turn tube right side out.
Attach one end of your elastic to one end of your tube with a safety pin.
Thread through tube and secure for sewing.
Using a zig zag stitch, secure your two elastic ends together.
Making sure fabric isn’t twisted, place one of your pressed edges inside the other & pin.
Sew ⅛” away from edge with coordinating or complimenting thread to secure.
Finished!
