I love the caramel bottom of the bread pudding. It reminds me of pineapple upside cake but ‘bread pudding’. This is great if you don’t have syrup in hand. It’s all in one!!

Just watched this after watching AR’s original one from several years ago, and again, it would be good to make clear to inexperienced cooks that you need to bring the glass dish to room temperature before you stick it in the preheated oven… or it will break and make a HUGE mess!!!😉

I notice no one responded to any comments here but maybe a fellow viewer will…I made this today, it is rich and delicious, but mine was fairly wet under that top crust and I couldn’t bake it any longer as the top would have burnt. Is this normal? I did 35 minutes at 350. Maybe next time I will use my bigger than 9 by 13 pan and see if that helps dry it out a bit.
